Welcome to the thread fellow Escapist member where you just express yourself. Express yourself in a way where you just off load your frustrations. Annoyance. This you see too often that makes you major loathe both sides. Allow me to start.

I am sick... of the bullshit that comes out of a politicians mouth when it comes to war and their major fucking ego. Its basically a "whose dick is bigger" competition even though most are cheating by using a pump and the Special "V". When the rich wage war, it's the poor who die. So sad but true.

I am fed up with compulsive liar who just for some reason can't stop when they are ahead. Often having no remorse. Heck, even when the truth comes to light, many still try to lie. WHY!?!?

I am sick of hearing "I can't get a job cause of these immigrants and those who aren't even born here". Oh, Thank you for blaming me, an immigrant, for you not getting a job. That line is mostly spouted by those who are too lazy to get off of their arses. Its illegal to hire people for pay under minimum wage here in the UK/EU and if a company is doing that, report them. Yes I know its hard to find work but don't blame us, for EVERYTHING!!! Shall we look at companies that seems to cut jobs even though some still make a profit and the CEOs get bonuses? Nope? Well maybe you bloody should.

I am fed up with this " religion versus atheism " debate that goes on foreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeevvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvveeeeerrr. Keep calling one stupid and gullible and saying the other is going straight to hell and see how far that will get you in life. Agree to disagree and move on. A pointless war isn't it?

Okay your turn if you wish to open up and just let out the frustration before the summer is over. Then once you do, breathe slow, relax and enjoy the sun. Or if you are in Aus, the cold.

I am also fed up with waiting for The Winds of Winter.
I know it hasn't been that long and he hates people rushing him but I really want to know what happens.
I also know that when I get the book, I'm going to devour it in a day, re-read it and then get immediately upset over having to wait for the next one.

I'm sick of waiting. For an enormous amount of things. Hurry up, world! At the same time, though, I wish time hold its frickin' horses and slow down. I've got summer vacation, see, and I don't want it to trickle away so quickly.

I'm totally fed up with the amazing weather the UK has been having for the last couple of weeks. This is probably the best summer in several years, and I'm consigned to spend most of it in an office with no air-con, where all but one of the windows have been painted shut.

I'm most fed up with mass inaction on climate change/energy security. This is already starting to damage the UK and will get worse, so we may as well bite the bullet and invest massively in renewables and other technology. Self-sufficiency would not be a bad thing considering how messed up the situation in Russia looks right now...

You know what, I feel your pain. Whoever decided that painting the windows shut was a good idea, is a bloody idiot!!! I worked in an office earlier this year that had painted windows. You would think the fifth floor of a building would be cooler, NOPE!! It's boiling like a sauna with about 40 people in a room on the phone. No air con, not even a damn fan. The water cooler was warm... WARM!!!!

Im fed up with my fellow brits praising and/or complaining about the weather. Yes its hot but join me for a day in the desert. Fortunately we have aircon everywhere except the metal shed that I work in, where its reaching about 40 celcius most days and your lucky if you can get a nightshift where it dropped down to 28 celcius at 1am. You need to constantly drink water to keep hydrated and if you sit your cold water down for a second it becomes hot

Game of Thrones. To be fair, I'm in the process of finishing the first book and it's good; I can see on some level why people get behind it. It's just that, for me, it's not fulfilling certain narrative needs I've been feeling and many characters are archetypes seemingly designed to automatically make the audience lean a certain way (Outcasts good! Royals bad! Prophecies come true!). Plus, despite my sincere efforts to try and avoid spoilers, I've accidentally found out through pics and discussions about 4 major character deaths, one of whom, strictly through casting on the show, is a kind of fulfilled prophecy in itself (and One Does Not Simply ignore that) and that sucks a lot of tension out of the story, even if there's most likely many, many more I don't know about. I also find that I'm really, really impatient - I don't know if it's the story itself or if I've just gotten that way as I get older, but, as I near the end, I'm not sure I want to continue with the rest of the series - it could get more interesting, but it's longer than I'm prepared to invest in and the prose, beautiful in some ways, can get spotty. However, I'm not ready to binge-spoil on Wikipedia just to catch up. Ultimately, it's not so much out of hate as it is fatigue and uncertainty that makes me just want to ignore the whole thing.

sick of talent shows like The Voice and Australia's got talent. Sure I don't have to watch them but their ads are on TV constantly and the "singers" only really know how to scream and give people ear damage. The judges are constantly telling all the participants how special they are and that they're the greatest thing since sliced bread. Somehow I don't see how they can all stand out from the rest, since that would mean no one does.

I'm tired of seeing "hur dur Amerikanz r stoopid" posts everywhere I go on the internet. Especially from fellow Americans. The ironic thing is that the people posting those comments are the ones that are contributing to the problem by being the very thing they criticize.

I'm also tired of people mocking/criticizing the way my country spells/says things as if it is an improper way of speaking the English language.

Oh, and another thing I am tired of is when people make a generalization about something to get a point or thought across and everyone jumps on them with the whole "not all women/men/gays/Arabs/etc are like that!" We all fucking know they aren't all like that. The statement isn't generally meant to imply that. It's meant to convey a thought about a specific group of people and it is easier and more efficient to say "why do Arabs..." instead of "why do some fanatical, crazy Arabs...." Stop taking everything so damn literally.

Sounds like you are sick of British politics in general and how bad the influence of the Right Wing Media (Read Rupert Murdoch) on the British populace and it's own (generally ill informed) political decision making is. I am pretty sick of it to to be honest but the only politician at this point who has made a move against them in recent memory is Nick Clegg. But he is a slimy bastard that the Lib Dems need to get rid of or keep to scapegoat for in the upcoming political failure for them that will be the 2015 general election.

I should probably stop before I write an essay on what is wrong with British Politics in general in here.

Probably my job. It's not hard or grueling or anything. In fact I spend most of my time browsing the Internet in a cool basement. But I just graduated college and I'm still working at the school for one last summer and I'm ready to move on to a career in my field of study. Plus they're taking some of our office space and putting a new department in there and it feels like our whole department is getting screwed. It's put depressing mood on everyone and I'm just ready to leave so I can earn more money and move out [small]and buy an expensive gaming pc[/small]

The funnest part? Solar panels absorb heat. The zoo in my town has special parking spots under solar panels so it keeps cars cool and can power the whole complex on a good day. Instead of using solar panels to cool our buildings and give us power, we pay (except in your case) or large air conditioning units and use more energy

Yes I really really am. Every misleading headline, every back door under the table "donation", every bloody lie just to make them look good and perfect and win cheap votes. "We can't punish the CEOs of the banks and other businesses because they will take their business away and put them over seas", bullshit. The Sun turned Liverpool into a villainous city by sending out the wrong information regarding Hillsborough. The Mail is a paper that creates unrealistic bullshit and scare tactics in other to get new readers. "Muslims Are trying to take over Britain", "Romanians are trying to take over Britain", Africans are trying to take over Britain". I am fucking sick of waiting my future apartment's renovations to finish. It's been over 4 fucking months, and I still haven't moved in. And it wasn't even a total restructuring. We were supposed to take down one wall, get a new floor for one room, renovate the kitchen and paint the walls.
