I don't know why, but once I beat a game I can't go back and play it. The same goes for books, and it bothers me sometimes. Is something wrong with me?
Not really, if thats what your like then thats that.
I personally can replay games a few times because I like to find things I missed or in some cases (like FF12) it can help me to understand the storyline better. I love me a good story.
Some things are unbelievably replayable for me, and some are just atrocious. A couple brilliant examples are Morrowind, which I've made well over a hundred different characters on, and Portal 2 which I could barely even be bothered to finish. It took alot of boredom to convince me to come back and finish, let me tell you that.
Depends on the game for me. Games with fun, fast replay like Prototype or Saint's Row 2 are no problem. Slow grindy replay like most RPG titles is like pulling teeth.
Yeah, I'm the same way. I think it comes from the realization that while I'm replaying an old game there are new games I've purchased and not completed gathering dust.

I have the same issue. Freeroaming games like Fallout 3 and mmos help but there are still limits to what you can explore. Right now I counter the feeling by going onto non rpg mmo's and try to socialize with the populace.
Nope, I can't bring myself to enjoy the exact same again a majority of the time. I can greatly enjoy an RPG the first time through but just get stuck wondering why I'm playing it if I try to do a second playthrough.
