Been playing planescape's Torment have we? Very well....MY answer is nothing can change the nature of a man. A man is like a mountain, trees grow on it, grass, flowers, all sorts of things that seem to alter it's appearance. But strip that away, by hardship and life's circumstance or what have you, and the mountain remains as it was before. Not the hand of religion, woman, life, or the threat of death it'self will alter him. A man simply is what he is, and that he will always be. Even if he wants to change, or is forced to change, eventually any measurable change made will change back.

And that my friends is my philosophy.

Therfore, in some cases it might be hard to say what changes a man. But yeah, stuff like sex changes, gun threaths, death etc does change you, quite alot.
