I don't blame any games for my own fuckups.
However, I have more social interactions through WoW than I have in real life.

Banjo Kazooie... I realised exactly how fucking brilliant games can be sometimes. Characters, settings and plots that are designed to make you give a damn...

SimCity on the SNES. I never realized what gaming was capable of until I played that game. It was no longer pattern recognition and reflexes...it engaged my brain. And it was off to the races.

I credit Crash Bandicoot for inciting my love of gaming, and Final Fantasy for turning that love into a passion.

But I have no gaming addiction, and if I did, it would be my fault, not any game.

It's perfectly in my rights to be as snarky as I want, freedom of speech and I'm not breaking a single forum rule
I did have some productive to say though, just because you think it's sarcastic doesn't mean it's not valid

Is the expansion worth getting? I've heard mixed reports on it.

Indifference to the future of the series aside, god I love duke.
I watched my dad play Duke 3D. :D One of the first games I played, if not the first. I was 3 or 4 at the time. :p

This is a hard one. What game turned me into a hardcore gaming addict...

The start would have to be Super Mario RPG... then Final Fantasy VII and VIII. Yep, I will say Final Fantasy VIII. I played through the entire game in about 3 weeks time. My whole winter vacation devoted to that game. Got it on release (first game I think I actually reserved and bought on release day) then played non-stop with my cousin for about 5 days. Then he went home and I kept on playing until the credits rolled (sleep and eating are included in that time LOL).

So, Final Fantasy VIII is my answer.

If you liked Origns, then its more of the same but not a whole lot more, you could probaly finish it in mabey 10-15 hours but its a solid good 10-15 hours of one of the best RPG's around, so yeah i'd reccomend it

I'd say the stage in my teens in which I just didn't leave the house unless absolutely necessary began with Final Fantasy VIII.

eh, don't really have a game addiction. At all, really, it's just another hobby/ time-waster.

Now, COMPUTER addiction, that is an entirely different story.
