I don't go to movies to start with. I watch it when it comes to tv, and if I don't like it, then I change the channel.

I didn't walk out of Eragon, but soldiered through to the end. I left with a bad taste in my mouth, and the movie convinced my father to never read the books, which is too bad. Had it been any other film, I certainly would have walked out. Terrible acting, unconvincing creatures, poor set design. And of course the choice to completely ignore the source material. It was all terrible.

Nearly walked out of Harry Potter since the third movie onwards.

Stayed for 3 and 4 because family was there
5 because a whole bunch of us were there
6 because girlfriend was there

But every time Emma Watson came on that screen....
I leave the room whenever it's on TV
You're kidding - she makes the films worth watching. The only scenes I can remember from the 6th film are when she's got her arse in the shot xD
Maybe it's just me, but I can't stand her, and I never had a crush on her ever, so I wasn't distracted by the 'sexy'. Deeply not a fan of her narm and her constant tears or anger.

I paid 12 bucks for the damn thing. I'm gonna get my money's worth.

Even so, I have never seen a movie that I really didn't want to see, except for UP, which turned out to be rather good.

Does it count if I've walked out on a DVD? (I don't see enough movies in the cinema...)

I walk out on DVD movies all the time, but I think the most memorable one was Hostel. The bit with her eye. Cutting the optical nerve is just not cool, dude.

Never walked out or stopped watching a film. I can provide proof, I've watched 'Open Water' & 'The Lawnmower Man' to the end.... beat that.
\

I made myself sit through "Meet the Spartans", I think I got you beat.
You watched a film you could laugh at for how terrible it's attempts were at actually being funny, as you would with a lame comedian. Your not laughing with them/him/her, your laughing at it/him/her.
Next challenger.
I didn't laugh once, I face palmed a few times though. The whole theater was filled with groans and sighs. There were 40 people at the start of the film, and half way through I looked around and saw about 10 left.
I watched half of priates of the carribean 3(or however the hell it's spelled)

beat that

I left near the end of knowing. I was forced there by some friends, not a big fan of Nicholas Cage, but the religion shoved at the end had us out of there.

The naked wrestling part. Maybe it would have been funny if I'd been with a group of friends like we had originally planned, but they ditched us to watch Happy Feet, so it was just me and my sister. A little bit awkward. I wish I'd known about the get-your-money-back-if-you-leave-within-20-minutes-of-starting rule then, or else I'd have left much sooner.

I don't walk out of movies or have ever felt like walking out of a movie at the start, what about you?
I'm the same. I have never felt an urge to leave a movie.
Except the fat kid in Gamer made me reconsider that.

Eragon. Holy hell, Eragon. I could handle the cringe-worthy acting... And the fact that he was wearing blue jeans in one scene... and the exposed lightbulb when Saphira hatched... But... Honestly? I can't remember WHEN I walked out. I know it was around the time Saphira backflipped through several YEARS of growth... Gods I hate that movie.

agreed, and the problem was that it could've been so much better, but noooo, they had to change the plot compleatly, put some ginger girl in as the elf and generaly make a wonderful concept awful. the eragon movie would've been amazing had they had: better actors (that includes voice actors), an ability to stick to the plot and generaly a production team that weren't cocks who had never read the book and only seen a powerpoint about it that they didn't even pay attention to!

Sin City. I fell asleep during the first thirty or so minutes of the movie, woke up to somebody getting shot in the groin, then left.
From the reviews I've read, I don't think I missed much.

I forgot I walked out of Eragon, too. I have no idea how John Malcovich keeps getting roles.
BLASPHEMY!

The last film I walked out of was Spider Man 3... when Peter Parker got black hair in an emo flick and started (and I quote) "strutting his stuff" on the dancefloor.

It was cringeworthy.
I was surprised at just how amazingly bad that whole scene was for spider man.

It was almost like someone said "I bet people would watch this." and someone else said "NO FUCKING WAY...lets try this...you got yourself a bet mofo..."

I came, I saw. I came again.

OT, I can't stand chick flicks, and when you know what's gonna happen. :/
They don't like each other, then something happens and they do. The end.

There was a scene at the beginning of The Cook, The Thief, His Wife and Her Lover that was so brutal it actually made me ill. I nearly walked out, but I ended up staying for the rest of the movie. Actually rather enjoyed the rest of it.
