I can now play gamecube games on my PC. What old underrated game should I play first?

Lost kingdoms, just do it. Trust me, it is my favourite game of all time.
Also you can play gamecube games on your pc? i can play them on my fucking gamecube.
Yeah, but can you play Super Smash Brothers online? I spent all last night playing against a friend in the next state.

I nominate Tales of Symphonia. As long as you like/don't mind the JRPG genre, it's a must-play - it's fun, with a strong plot and fun characters, and it doesn't devolve into the major cliches of the genre (it even subverts a lot of them!). And, the cherry on top, it even has real time combat rather than turn-based.
Tales of Symphonia/Vesperia are my two favorite JRPGs. But I disagree about the cliche subversion. Hometown devastated by baddies? Check. Clumsy, cute, willful, tragic girl with the fate of the world on her shoulders? Check. Villain trying to destroy the world for the sake of resurrecting dead female family member? Checkaroo. Vesperia had less of that, I'll grant. I liked it better but they are both great.

Its a dolphin emulator. You make ISOs of your gamecube discs. You cannot use a gamecube pad, but you can blue tooth a Wii controller and plug in the Classic Controller I think.

I just use the 360 controller. I have the wireless adapter.
I use a gamecube controller :p.

My list of 'must plays' for the gamecube are:

Wind Waker
Metroid Prime
Metroid Prime 2
Tales of Symphonia
Super Mario Sunshine
Luigi's Mansion
Super Smash Bros. Melee
Pikmin
Pikmin 2
Mario Kart: Double Dash
Timesplitters 2
Spiderman 2
Reign of Fire
Skies of Arcaida
Lost Kingdoms
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles
Get the hell out of my head. That's almost my exact list as well. I thought I was the only one who played (and enjoyed) Reign of Fire. Why the hell don't we get more games like that? You're a goddamn dragon and you vomit fire on everything. How is that not 50% of all games? There's what...Spyro? I mean come ON.

I'm not sure how underrated they are, but I suggest Ikaruga and Alien Hominid, both of which are great games.

I should warn you, both games are very, VERY hard, but considering you've apparently played freakin' F-Zero GX, that may not be an issue.
Already put those games under my belt too, but I've downloaded them as well so I can experience them again.
Silk are you a black steel brotherhood member? On topic I got it working but not at the right framerate so its all slow an the sound is delayed.

Ok, I know it wasn't a gamecube exclusive, but I played it on the Gamecube first and only so to me it may as well be.

Unfortunately Killer 7 has a game breaking bug after the first missions boss that makes it unplayable for the rest of the game which is a shame because the game looks fucking great in HD (PS2 emulation works perfectly) but other than that I'd go with Wind Waker as its the only Zelda game I've genuinely loved (all the others are quite good though).

There is a distinct lack of Baten Kaitos in this thread....so...ya....Baten Kaitos....one of the most underrated JRPG's to date. Art is great ,story is great, music is great, gameplay is great....overall it is a fantastic JRPG.

I would suggest Godzilla: King of Monsters. It's a fun fighting game in a 3D arena that just happens to be a major metropolitan city. It's very fun to run around smashing skyscrapers while you fight some other comically huge monster from old Japanese movies. Me and some friends had hours of fun going head to head. It reminded me of the old Rampage!! game, but 3D rendered instead of 2D sidestyle game. Definately worth a look I feel.

This is a weird thread to be seeing on a site that actively shuts down people who admit to piracy. Especially how you seem to be talking about picking up any ol' game.
It's not our place to question his methods really. He could download the .iso or run to any store that sells 2nd-hand GC discs, it matters not. He simply wants to know what to play.

Furthermore, downloading an iso is illegal depending on where you live. Here in The Netherlands, it is perfectly legal to download an iso dump of a game you own (even if you don't as for that matter), I'm fairly sure we're not the only country with such policies.

What bug? I have it original on my GC and it's working fine.

It's a bug on the dolphin emulator that makes it unplayable past the first boss NOT!!! a bug on the original GC that works perfectly and is the best non-emulated version (it has something to do with rendering the first bosses wings being shot and it immediately crashes the game).

Thank you very much, I was a tad worried there.
