I can see Facebook making money off of this. And honestly I don't really mind...but $12.20? Seriously? That is batshit insane. They would make a hell of a lot more charging like $0.99. Then again having more people willing to do it would sort of negate the effect, but damn. Anything more than $10 is fifty miles passed crazytown.
I'd call it a shameless cash-grab but after Facebook's face-plant on the stock market it isn't really surprising to see them start trying to get money off of its users. As for the app itself (price-tag aside), it looks absolutely useless and, completely pointless.
