The Vita is not region locked so I can just buy the cartridge and import it, I prefer not to buy full games (they suck up space in a memory card faster than a speeding bullet)

I just hope they ship cartridges overseas a week before they come out in the US so we can get them at roughly the same time.
'Tis true, full games can be quite consuming. It's that uncertainty about delivery that I was thinking about: I know if it were me, I'd be open to trying whatever trick I could to get it on its North American release date. But yeah, I suppose if you get lucky with delivery, you'll get it around the same time anyway.

Amazon seems to always get my pre orders on time or sometimes even the day before.
My friend pre ordered halo 4 from a lesser known site and got halo 4 Saturday.
4 days before release

Easy problem to solve...
Go to the store (futureshop, gameshop, etc.) yourself and buy the fucking game.
The only problem i have with pre ordering is that they dont always include the pre order bonuses for some places.

Heh I used to have no problems with pre-orders and usually got things a day or 2 earlier since the amazon distribution centre was on the island and sent out to the UK and some of europe. Then the UK complained about how Jersey was doing tax evasion on sending goods to mainland etc etc and how we should be taxed to ship to the UK. Eventually it ended up that amazon moved to Sweden (I think), we lost a lot of jobs, guess what England they're still dodging tax and now everyone has to wait longer for what they order. So yeah i'm finding pre-ordering really annoying now since it generally means what I order is probably going to be 2 or 3 days after release date. I also admit I am bitter about this (shakes fist in air in impotent rage).

Well i don't preorder , ever . What i usually do , is get off my lazy ass , get dressed , walk across the street , buy game , and return home and play .

Also , why is it so important to get a game on day one? I never understood this .
Apparently you don't live in a region where you have to spend literally double the price for games than anywhere else in the world in stores, that buying it from overseas and shipping it is infinitely cheaper (going from what could have been $60-70 more to only $10).

And some people are really excited to play these games, and want to get then as soon as possible. Preordering to me means paying extra for extra and getting it the same time as everyone else. Can you really criticise someone's enthusiasm for something they love to buy it as soon as they can?
