Ok, so I recently purchased an Asus N10J Netbook.
I love this thing, and could probably make a ton of threads on this bad boy, but I'll just make one (more):
I recently got Crysis, and tried to run it on my new little 10" Netbook, the Asus N10J.
It works.
I've got it overclocked to 2.0 Ghz (Up from the stock 1.6), the game running at 1024x600, and everyone on 'low' detail, but it runs.
And you know what? It runs well.
I just jumped out of the plane and am running through the tutorial, but everything is pretty darn smooth.
I can't believe it. I love this thing.
I'll post an update-edit when I get into some fire-fights and things start exploding.
But my question to you is: Have to ever just tried running a game that you know shouldn't really run on your system, but it ran anyways? And was playable?
EDIT:
Ok, so I played basically my entire lunch break at work.
And here is the verdict:
I might drop the resolution down to 800x600, but it's definitely playable. It does chug during really busy moments, but over all it's pretty solid. And besides, my point remains the same: I'm playing Crysis on a netbook. How freaking awesome is that?
