Team Fortress 2.

Good god that game gets boring quick (the fact that you spend 90% of the time dead because nobody can actually be assed to help doesn't do it any favors either.)

JRPG's that didn't show my character duking it out with the enemy. I could really never get into Earthbound or the Phantasy Star series.

I used to have trouble with that too. And then I realized that "hey! I can just use my imagination to fill in the blanks!". And then it became fun.

For example, in one battle in Etrian Oddessey, I ended up imagining the rhino that charged my Paladin (named after a friend) rammed into him as he put his swords up to block...and then as I noticed that he survived by a measly 2 hp, I pictured my friend being launched several feet into the air, hit a tree and fall into the bushes before extending a hand up while saying "I'm....ok!" in typical cheesy slapstick TV style.

I just like to imagine how each of those kinds of battles plays out. You can't do that if you see all the action.

Fallout 3 ... it's a good game, but I just got bored wandering around a brown/gray/green wasteland.

Street Fighter ... maybe it's because I started of with SFIV and got my ass handed to me so hard I rage quit.

Bioshock ... too scary/depressing/hard. The new one looks pretty cool though, gonna try it out.

Dead Rising 2 - Who knew that a zombie infection could get boring :/
