So ive noticed a lot of love towards the Timesplitters series on this site and i raise the question we have all been asking eachother..
WHERE THE **** IS TIMESPLITTERS 4?!

Free Radical, the orginal creators of TS have been bought by Crytek UK (You know the people, they make those games that are awesome to the eye and cast fear over your CPU's). Free Radical/Crytek have stopped development of TS for now. BUT! Crytek UK claimed that they would continue the project once there is a high industry demand for such a game.

So ladies & gentlemen. Lets try and get their attention. Spread the word!

Petition to get Timesplitters back in buisness = http://www.petitiononline.com/TS4tcbd1/petition.html

God. Timesplitters. Good memories. My first foray into four player split-screen. The first game still holds my heart over the other two, however.

It got to the point in that game where our team of four could take on a team of ten, five-star AIs. I still remember our standard loadout too.

1) Pistol
2) M16
3) Sci-Fi Autorifle
4) Rocket Launcher
5) Shotgun x2

Oh man... Time to go dig up the memory card with all my custom maps on it!

The gaming gold for me was Mexico? (think that was the map) just revolvers 1 hit kills mano el mano that was so much fun! So many hours spent with my mate just playing that alone.

I loved making custom maps that where just a basic square blank room with a flickering red light and had a gothic theme to it. Then, a load of spawn points = MAYHEM!

Want.
Very much.

My Xbox broke. Now I want a new one just so I can play Future Perfect again...I don't care if I have to beat it all over.

Hmm well I've only played TS 2 and it was a... decent. I think the multiplayer was great but the single player was only decent. Yes it had it's moments but it wasn't that grand. Maybe they should turn TS into the next team fortress game (as in multi-only)

Although shooting monkeys with a minigun to stop them from blowing up the dam was pretty fun...

TS3 (a.k.a. Timesplitter: Future Perfect) definitely improved the singleplayer aspect of the series. It has a cohesive story strung together with well-animated, hilariously-written, and excellently-voiced cutscenes.

I signed the petition, and would be perfectly ecstatic if Crytek UK developed TS4. DO WANT.

One of the biggest dissapointments for me was that TS3 was not supported on the 360 despite microsoft saying it would be shortly before release. Having an Xbox and a 360 lying around seems like a massive waste of space.

I think that might've been #2, but I agree. That was one of the best maps in that game.

All my maps were so intricate. I used every last bit of free memory on them. I had multi-level ones where mass confusion was key. I had levels that spanned long hallways with large jumbling mazes at either end. One thing all my maps had in common was confusion. I spent a long time perfecting flaws in each one. To be honest, I don't think I spent less than a half-hour per map. Lighting and weapon placement were my specialties. I could always make good ambiance with the lights I placed. Usually even color-coded the bases for my CTB maps. My four-team CTB maps were awesome. (Not to toot my own horn) As to weapons, I always kept to a system; The lower the number, the more there were on the map ans the further from the center they were placed. So, the #5 weapon would have one or two spawns on a long timer, very close to the center.

Ahh, the memories are flooding back...

MW2 has perks

MAG has a 256 player count

BC2 has destructible environments

Timesplitters: Future Perfect has laser weilding snowmen on flying carpets.

Looks like a win to me.

The hours upon hours me and my best friend racked up playing every mode and map on TS2 is scary. We actually got a copy of it at uni and spent all night playing it on my housemate's PS3.

If TS4 does get made I hope they take the multiplayer back to how it was in 1-2 with the smaller more manic maps. I didn't enjoy the larger scale of 3 at all.

Here is to hoping it happens!

Me and my sister spent accumulated weeks on TS 2 and 3; it would be amazing to have a fourth game in the series, though that would be conditional on the developer putting all of Free Radical's love into it. Otherwise it would wear the skin of a modern classic but not share its heart.
