Sega Mega Drive Ultimate Collection. My one and only platinum. I don't really care for trophies but that one was ridiculously easy.

Sleeping Dogs and Saints Row IV, in short open world crime based sandbox that put all of the collectibles on the map. Hint, I will only collect your collectible if you tell where they are in-game.

My first one was Dragon age Origins on the PS3, and Terminator on the Xbox I suppose.
When I got to level 10 (and hit 20,000GS on the Xbox) I kinda stopped caring about gaining more.

Oddly enough, my first (and only, so far, though I have come relatively close in other games) platinum trophy was Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory. It's actually a really easy platinum, though; at least half of the trophies are earned just by playing the game and maxing everyone's Lily Ranks (which requires a hefty amount of grinding, considering that Uni, Rom and Ram all join in the final story dungeon), and each of the three endings has a trophy. After that, there're trophies for reaching level 99, making game discs, making a Godly Game disc, developing lots of items, amassing a ton of credits, fighting in lots of battles, getting a 100 hit combo, doing a lot of damage, sending a lot of scouts on missions, reaching quest rank S and finally getting a perfect score on your post-chapter rating.
Mk 2 is an easy one too. I find Victory a bit more grindy for some reasons, especially when you wanna get to the level cap.

the game doesn't have achievements but Rayman 2 I got all 1000/999 lums.
Well the game crashes every time I get the hidden dead lum but it still says I have 1000/999 so it counts dammit :p

Holy shit, that sounds like a hilariously bad bootleg version. Probably made with megablox or something.

In terms of platinums I've received, I got my first on Modern Warfare 2. Then I got a bunch, Heavy Rain, Uncharted 2, Cod: WaW, Black Ops, Portal 2, then 1000 pointed Cod 4-MW3, Bully, Rayman Origins, Sonic Generations...

I'm forever upset by my lack of plats in Rock Band 2 and LittleBigPlanet. I did the endless setlist, but I was playing with a person on medium whose guitar broke partway through. So that kinda fucked me. And the only trophies I'm missing in LBP are have X people favorite you and your stages. Which is just a shot in the dark.

"Bully", brilliant game but sadly a string of mundane tasks and tirelessly locating all the various hidden items resulted in me burning up any desire to play it again in a hurry.

I actually need to get back to Mk. 2. I finished the true ending and am currently on the path to getting the conquest ending, but I stopped partway through to play other games. Not particularly looking forward to grinding every character up to level 99, especially since there are more characters in Mk. 2 then in Victory, though thankfully I don't need to grind Lily Ranks.

Any tips on 80 hit combos and dealing 100,000 damage? The AP system kinda makes it more difficult than in Victory.

None, I don't care about it. Although I've had fun hunting the badges in Diablo 3 at release to see if I can earn them faster than my friends.

Bullet Witch for the Xbox360. Not really worth it. The final achievement was to beat the game on the hardest difficulty and was only worth 1 point.

Well congrats there, OP, 'tis a good feeling, no?

The first game I ever earned all the achievements for was Dead Space on 360, which has earned that game a special place in my heart. I have since "completed" several other games, but have yet to platinum anything on PS3. Working on that, though. inFamous 1 & 2 will probably be the first, followed by either Spec Ops: The Line or Remember Me, I haven't decided yet.

I think I got 80hit combo while fighting enemies in the castle area when I was lv60-70. If you're too overleveled just head to the arena, find some strong bosses and spam 5pb's paralysis attack.
For 100k hit I used Nepgear x Neptune combination move on the ultimate boss in the arena, I think you found this in a chirper event, can't remember very well.

only 3 'platinum' trophies so far:

God of War 3
FFXIII
FFXIII-2

and i'm only a couple away from a Dark Souls platinum... mainly getting that third Sif soul for Knight's Honor. (screw you pure bladestone Demons' Souls).

i can't even recall other 'perfect' runs, like collecting everything in a zelda game, or collecting all of the stars/star coins in a Mario game.

Xbox 360:

- Banjo-Kazooie
- Banjo-Tooie
- Darksiders
- Mass Effect 2
- Minecraft
- The Wolf Among Us (so far, anyway)

Steam:

- The Walking Dead
- The Walking Dead Season Two (so far, anyway)

Currently I've been working toward 100% on Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes and I am so close on that front.

Congratulations on the 100% South Park: Stick of Truth as well. I was going for that as well but missed two achievements across two playthroughs, so I'm giving that game a break for now, heh.

First and only game I have platted was Resogun. I was crazy for that game for about 10 days, and that was all it took. Not a hard plat by any means.

I'm also about half an hour's speedrunning from platting Ico.

My first ever platinum was Modern Warfare 2 (which I did by myself), then The Sabateur (which I traded off with my roommate). I've also got the plats for Spec Ops: The Line (hard, but quick), InFAMOUS 2, MW3, Far Cry 3, Saints Row: The Third, Fallout 3, The Walking Dead, Metro: Last Light, Ao2: The Devil's Cartel, and CoD:Ghosts.

I'm within a trophy or two of platinuming a whole lot more, but honestly, if I'm no longer having fun I tend to give up.

Congratulations! Congratulations!

I have never gotten a platinum trophy! and I never will!

Because why would I play certain sections of the same game over and over again for points and achievements, when I can go and play other games? I'm not trying to shit on anyone's achievements I just have a huge backlog.

My first was Bioshock, followed by Portal 2

The rest I have completed are either easy as hell (Costume Quest, Lego Batman) or all the achievements are story-related (Walking Dead, Wolf Among Us)

That being said, I USUALLY don't try TOO hard for achievements as usually a third of them are multiplayer based and I hate multiplayer in most instances so I'm doomed to always have incomplete games

Resistance 2 baby. Kill 10,000 people in ranked online matches. Never. AGAIN.

Second one was Call of Duty: World at War.
I'm surprised you didn't say "Never. AGAIN." for CODWAW. THAT GAME...
The game itself isn't that hard, it's when you dive into Veteran difficulty that things start to get insane. And in order to get every achievement, you MUST finish the entire game on Veteran. It is one of the most difficult game in the series on Veteran; let's just say, it earned it's nickname "Call of Duty: Grenades at War" extremely well. In addition, there are two achievements that REQUIRE you to get to max prestige (the first is prestige 1, the other is max), which would require more patience than the campaign, but if you've played the multilayer recently, it's hacked to hell! I've played several games where random people were invincible, or everyone had infinite clips, one where everyone had low gravity, one person was walking on the skybox noob-tubing everyone... it was bad.

OT: There was a point in life where I was dedicated to getting 100% achievements in every game I played, but that time has passed as my free time has evaporated. I've gotten quite a few, such as AC2, Skyrim, Modern Warfare 1, 2, and 3, Mass Effect 1, 2, and 3, Fallout 3 and NV, and I think a few others.
