I didn't like Obilivion,should I give the elder scrolls a chance with skyrim??

I have no idea, since I've not played Skyrim (obviously) but chances are that if you didn't like Oblivion, you won't like Skyrim.
Maybe you could borrow it off a friend or something when it's out, and see if you like it.

I really disliked Oblivion, I was never immersed in it like I was Morrowind. Morrowind had unique creatures, unique landscapes, unique everything, Oblivion was generic RPG with no immersion. I hated what Bethesda had done with it. I was willing to give them a second chance with Skyrim, but it seems like I am going to give up on the Elder Scrolls series and Bethesda in general.
Far too early to tell...so far Skyrim seems to be Oblivion with some minor tweaks in combat and a major graphical improvement. Based on that, I doubt you'll like it.
Of course, it's all about those small changes...maybe they'll have corrected what you disliked about Oblivion when its all said and done. I certainly wouldn't pre-order it in your case though.

I doubt it will be worth your money to get skyrim. I didn't enjoy oblivion personally, but there's a fairly large group of people who did like it, and Bethesda don't seem like the kind of people who put much effort into tampering with things that people liked already, eg. Fallout New Vegas (Don't get me wrong, I loved that game). Anyway, rent if you can, or ask someone else who didn't like oblivion if there's much changed in skyrim before you sink your money into it.

OT: Well, i was really excited when i ehard they were going back to make it more morrowind like, then i heard they are mainly doing the game for consoles and apparently they want to simplify the game and take stats out as much as possible, so yeah it's not looking good, soon we will hear news of no modding tools for PC and as an extra troll move, first ever game with mod tools for consoles.
I would say give Oblivion another try. The elder scrolls games always require a bit of patience to get into, but they are sooo worth it once you get there (Morrowind doesnt get fun until you hit level 5, and that can be a WHILE.)
Well, I'm pretty psyched for Skyrim, even though I didn't like Oblivion all that much. Fallout 3 definitely sold me though, so if they make the same level of improvement from that, it should be amazing. I think playing Fallout 3 first was the main reason I didn't like it, it seemed like a complete downgrade.
Edit: Oh, and my major reason for disliking Oblivion was the serious disconnect I had with the world. Horrible voice acting, samey map, uninteresting story, labyrinthine dungeons, but most importantly: Everyone looked like uncanny puppets, with weird squashed faces, and horrible animations. I couldn't believe for a single second these were actual inhabitants. From the brief footage I've seen of Skyrim it looks to be completely fixed, it looks smooth as an open world game can be, and everything looks and feels more solid, like the players and inhabitants have weight in the world, as well they should. So yeah, by "feel", Skyrim already looks leagues ahead of Oblivion.

I imagin he means the second Blades mission. Compleating the Blades quest follows teh main story-line of the game.
I dont know what that mission is, but knowing Oblivion, it is possible that the game bugged out and made the mission imposible to compleate without some patches.
