Suspended for that? Why?

Anyways, I'm not rejoicing in the streets, but I can't say that I don't care either.

Also, the last line made me think of <spoiler=this>http://imgs.xkcd.com/store/imgs/witty_square_1.jpg for some reason.
I think it's because it's a low-content post in the sense that it has no value, whatsoever. His argument really is "I don't give a fuck about arguments and the philosophy behind this" - I suppose that's fine, but then he just goes trolly madness and says "Anyone who has a view I do not agree with, or gives a lot of thought to it is clearly just an idiot that likes to think they like it because they saw an interesting film once"

Kind of like if I posted "I don't care god exists" then you read it and it's me saying "I just don't give a fuck - oh look, I'm all awesome and shit lalala - if you hold some kind of view on this clearly it's just cause you're parroting the bible/matrix or whatever mass media that deals with the metaphysics of god"

Really, it's just troll baiting. At least, that's what I've observed (I initially thought it weird to just go BAM with a suspension, but there seems to be a decent reason if you look closely enough)
But I AM looking closely, and this looks like a satire (as was more or less given away by the "Some1 love me plz").

It just goes to show that satire is a truly dangerous form of writing.

I also fundamentally don't really care that Osama's dead (if that is in fact the case, which you could debate the pants off, but hang on, I'm getting to the point here,) because all of this bullshit is just ways to get you to focus on "problems" in the world when the only problems in the world are the ones of your own creation, the ones that you choose to perceive.

I choose to perceive that the only way to a state of real, pure bliss, is stop giving a damn about there, and start focusing on simply BEING HAPPY in yourself.

Osama's death, real or otherwise, means nothing in the grand scheme of things. Just another way of distracting you from just being happy. Weeee.

I don't think it was well executed nor conveyed.

Bin_laden's death is bitter sweet. The only sweet part is that some people feel like something was accomplished. Unfortunatley, Obama probably just got an undeserved second term, and something HUGE will happen in the future. Huge is refering to the number of deaths, of course.
But we should NEVER consider those who killed Bin Laden responsible for any retaliation that might occur.

Maybe not the soldiers but I would say some of the responsibility would land in the lap of the people who gave them the go ahead.

I get your point. People who act indifferent and cynical on purpose just to seem intelligent are a pain.

Still, I don't think most people here will get it. Most of them probably think this thread really is about Bin Laden.

no, absolutely not! The only ones responsible for the retaliation will be the ones committing it!

Counter-counter culture. It's cool to be against the "cool" apathetic people now apparently. does anyone have an opinion of their own to share? Maybe someone who's put some thought into it?
I looked at the original post out of curiosity to see why the OP was suspended. When I saw it, I decided I wasn't going to put a post in this thread because I don't like feeding trollage(won't say I'm not guilty of making trollage of my own on occasion); however, this comment was so resonant with how I feel about 99.999% of the comments and posts I read on the internet. It really feels like people just don't think for themselves anymore; they just mindlessly parrot the same dribble, with no understand of what it all really means.

As low content as the OP was, I have to approve of it because of how expertly it satirizes about half of my facebook news feed.
