But I'm looking for a gaming laptop for when Skyrim comes out, I know the specs aren't out yet but could someone possibly speculate on a suitable gaming laptop with a decent graphics and sound card that wouldn't break the bank?

If you could that'd help a lot thanks.

You need to be more specific in what your price range is, and secondly for gameing youll get far more bang for your buck if you get a tower.

Well I'd have to save up regardless but I've seen a great one for £900, I was just wondering if anyone would be able to help me find something cheaper

That's what I've got my eye on, just wanted some general advice, if I can get similar for cheaper and if it would be good for gaming or not.

I was more interested in a laptop because I travel a lot.

Well i'm assuming my gaming rig is going to be able to play it on max (like it does everything else), so you'll want similar or higher specs to mine;

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @3GHz (and i5 or i7 in new technology)
4GB RAM (win7 uses 1.3GB the rest is enough to run any game)
KFA2 NVIDIA GTX460 768mb DDR5 Graphics Card

Looking at the link i'm assuming the toshiba qosmio is the one you were looking at and that would be fine, but you should be aware laptop versions of graphics cards are not as good as the tower counterpart, they are also not supported (officially) as much when it comes to games, so just keep that in mind and don't be fooled by these so called gaming laptops, there just money spinners.

You can build an extremely good gaming desktop for around $800, and you can upgrade parts when needed, instead of buying a whole new laptop. I believe that would be a better option.
