I dunno, what do you want to talk about?

Sometimes I log onto this forum, browse through the topics on the first couple of pages, and realise I don't have a vested enough opinion on anything there to make a contribution. So this is where you should put down stuff that you like talking about but that you don't feel like making a whole thread about, and that don't pop up in the forum either.

For example, me, I like motorsports, and history, and engineering, and Heineken, but topics on these things tend to be few and far between, but it's not really worth making a thread on Alonso's performances this season, Frederick II's maneuver at Leuthen, or Bombardier's new CSeries which they've been all excited about.

I enjoy masturbation, but there never seems to be any appropriate threads where I can bring it up and get release.
Sorry to be so in your face about it. It just sort of spurted out. Coming out of nowhere like that I get that it might be hard to swallow.

I want to talk about sexism in game. Seriously, I do. Then I can stop female gamer`s complainings.

I brought up F1 the other day in that thread asking if we like sports, as it's the only spectator sport I like - in fact, I think it's the perfect spectator sport, cuz spectating is kinda all you can do.

Hate Alonso though. Smug self-centered bastard. Though apparently most Spanish sportsmen are like that. Good god.
I truly deeply hope he doesn't win the championship. Anyone but him. Anyone but him and Vettel. That would be boring. Other than that, anyone. Even Karthikeyan (sp?) :p

My heart skipped a bit when I read that... didn't realise other people would get particularly enthusiastic about stuff like that. However, Frederick's military legacy is borne out a little too much by that painting of the march of his infantry at Hohenfriedberg...

Anyway, Leuthen is best described as Leuctra by force of manouevre as opposed to force of disposition. And not to take away anything from Alte Fritz, but Charles was an idiot.

Truth be told, I'm more into the period right after i.e. Napoleonic Wars until the Wars of German Unification. Though my love of all things Prussian-history wise naturally does not preclude any study of the resident of the Sanssouci! :3

OT: First thing I thought of when reading the topic title was - Publius Licinius Crassus Dives... *shrug* don't know why, but you asked!

Because other users' misery arouses a sense of happiness in me.
If you're completely silent right after a pun has made you groan, you may hear the faint sound of me slapping the meat.
When I can double it with sexual innuendo and horrible puns there's no way I can resist such a temptation.

Ah, cursing works fine as well. Everybody likes some dirty talk.
Pretty much any reaction aside from genuine heartfelt laughter, really.

I wanna talk about spiderman memes. That's always fun. Oh, and Fire Emblem! Nobody ever wants to talk about Fire Emblem.

It occured to me that I hadn't made any puns in my latest posts by the way, so I made you a poem.
*ahem*

There once was a man called Gerard
Whose member was quite often hard
When he stroked it real fast
It would give off a blast
And he'd be left with a limp piece of lard

Dicks.

I don't really like Alonso either, but I'm a massive Ferrari fan so it comes with that. The guy has shown his class this year though, that car's a dog. I'd wager most people in the sport, not just the driver's, are smug, self centered bastards though. Some just are better at hiding it.

Crikey, you certainly know your stuff. I'm an amateur history buff at best, though I do share your inclination towards the Prussians.

I want to talk about how awesome medieval history and battles were in Europe, or how renewable energy is crap and Nuclear Fusion will save the earth, or good songs for a learner guitarist to know that are actually soulful and you want to play in your spare time rather than soft girl baiting pop trash (like James Blunt or Jason Mraz)

That'll do. Someone please suggest me some easy rocking songs to learn on guitar that aren't complete balls.

I think this thread should be called the ADD thread. Anyone can talk about anything? There will be conversations within conversations amongst other conversations possibly about different conversations all within one thread. I'll be curious to see how long one person's post can generate discussion.

I've a somewhat limited experience with Fire Emblem, only playing 3 and a quarter of the games (blame one mis-placement of a Sacred Stones cartridge).
Though I do say I like the Ike vs Black Knight dynamic of the 9th and 10th games. Ike's a competent, skilled kid who's been trained by one of the best fathers I've seen in a Japanese game. Shame said father gets run through by the Black Knight, and Ike naturally pursues vengeance with a surprisingly level head about the whole ordeal. It's hard not to like the Black Knight, he knows how to be a competent villain when he needs to be and is a reserved onlooker when he doesn't. He also looks awesome 100% of the time (check the TvTropes page image [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/BlackKnight]).

Also: If you're bored, and are familiar with the music from Sonic Adventure 2, you might like this. I found out while listening to things on youtube and re-playing Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, that the death of Ike's father goes surprisingly well with Eggman's theme. [http://youtubedoubler.com/?video1=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DLWiSEyU76M4&start1=3&video2=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DTD045DChGSY&start2=0&authorName=C+F] Mute the second video and watch it while listening to the audio from the first.
...Well, I found it amusing at any rate. Maybe I'm just too easily entertained sometimes.

Okay, I've shared my bit for this session of obscure Nintendo show and tell.

For some strange reason, I feel like talking about The Scorpion King 3.

Dunno why that is. And I'm sure I've never mentioned it before.
