I fail to see how this is funny.

Big Bang Theory, definetly. Everyone told me I would love that show, cause supposably I'm geeky, (ei. I like science) but when I watch it, I just thought it was too stupid, and stereotypical. I guess the creators of the show wanted to make a "smart" comedy, but I think they fell flat on their faces.

Napoleon Dynamite is the obvious answer. The single worst movie ever made ever, and for some reason some people find it funny.
Norbit is worse. Much, MUCH worse.

Edit: Deleted for getting the wrong show in mind.

Garfield is a tired, unimaginative, and chronically unfunny comic in my eyes.

I cannot see why so many people find it so hilarious.

Dylan Moran - Irish comedian quite popular in Ireland and the UK.My brother and some of my friends think he's the best stand up around.Have you ever been in a pub and some drunken idiot is just spouting non-stop bullshit?Well that pretty much sums up Moran's comedy style

Futurama - Ok this show has it's moments but people talk about it like it's the second coming and frankly it doesn't deserve that level of praise

Anything on Children's television that's supposed to be considered "witty" basically the entire Disney Channel lineup and the live action crap on Nick.

Children can't comprehend dry sarcastic wit, and it just annoys the shit out of those of us who can.

The Disney Channel.

My little sister put it on and I told her "Don't watch the Disney Channel; it rots your brain."

Now normally I'd sound like an insane quasi-functional parent of some kind, but this is perfectly true. Science compels me to this conclusion.
That's how all quasi-functional parents think.

That show The Big Bang Theory. Everyone I know loves it and thinks it's hilarious when it's just absolute shite. I even gave it a fair trial and sat through 2 full episodes, it just wasn't funny.
Opinions are like assholes. Everybody's got one. You're actually the first person I've found who disliked that show, non nerds like it because it makes fun of nerds, but nerds like it because they get all the in jokes.

Russell Howard.
I can't seem to understand how people think he's funny. Everytime I hear one of his jokes I react somewhat like this:

Jim Gafagin or however you spell his name, hes not funny, hes never going to get funny, go watch Gabriel Iglesias
Completely disagree with that one, Jim Gaffigin always has me consistently laughing, while Gabriel Iglesias relies completely on his ability to throw his voice, which is only occasionally funny.

The film Grandma's Boy in it's entirety. I couldn't get into it at all and was a bit insulted that I, a gamer, was the target audience for it. I think the main problem is that I am also straight edge and there is a lot of pot-humor mixed in but then, I saw and enjoyed [for the most part] Pineapple Express too and know that there are a lot of good examples of drug-based humor. Whatever it was about Grandma's Boy, I wasn't getting it.

Same with the later Movie movies. The last decent one I saw was Superhero Movie but everything after Scary Movie 2 is basically not funny to me. Date Movie was good but there was a great deal of commitment to that one.

I love Linkara. But what I don't get is the kind of joke that you often can find in such manga as One Piece, Bleach, Fairy Tail, and above all others: Bobobo-Bo Bo-Bobo, and so on, where somebody says something funny and somebody else shouts an angry explanation of the joke. Like this:

Guy: We have ten million yen! This means...

Girl: Yes?

Guy: This means we can buy ten tons of candy!

Girl: We need it for more important stuff than that!

That last comment seems pointless. Either the readers can get the joke without help, and if so, why explain it? Or they can't, in which case you need to write jokes they get.

The whole american pie series, and pretty much anything else that leverages the penis as comedic gold. Oh hey I mentioned something to do with penis, worship my hilarity. I guess its shockfactor for a few people? 30 rock is painfully unfunny. It doesn't help that they seem to try so hard just to fall flat. But at least its not chain genital humor jokes.
This. American Pie was pathetic and I could not understand why people liked it. It was just idiotic. But then I had the same response to Austin Powers. I could only make myself watch the first film and the immature bathroom humor completely turned me off to it. All the hype made out Austin Powers to be a hilarious God Movie and I just wasn't overly impressed with it.

Game Dogs and Dane Cook are obvious answers. Fred from youtube, Sarah Silverman is completely unfunny and Will Ferril movies are typically awful, especially when he's the lead.

What about Black Books? In my opinion, one of the best comedies of the decade. Rarely, if ever relies on OMG Random!, toilet humour or any of the other things that people have been complaining about in this thread.

I think the biggest thing that encompasses everything that's been touched upon already is the fact that humor is SO incredibly objective, individual to everyone who consumes it, that something that is considered the 'funniest thing in the world' by tens of thousands of people will fall completely flat on hundreds of others.

It does not mean that these things are 'not funny.' Because, to someone, somewhere, it is.
It also does not mean the person providing the entertainment lacks skill. They might, but if someone appreciates what they offer enough for them to continue to make videos, blogs, etc. OR for the corporate monkeys to keep them on the air, then just... let it be. Don't watch it and take time to enjoy what you actually do find fun.

Friends, maybe it's because I didn't watching it during it's first run, but I just don't find it funny.

Yeah, but in one's opinion if something is unfunny, it's unfunny and we blame it on the lack of talent from the person (or people) delivering the humor.
I'd post what I find fun here, but this is a thread to to the opposite.
