People are idiots on youtube.
They believe that thumbs up will grant them a bigger e-peen, and will say anything to get them. Such as quoting lines from the vid or saying something like "this ammount of people don't like this vid because they are that."
Granted some comments are original.

Jesus Christ, guys, they're not being jerks, trolls, or idiots. They're making a joke that was started in a community surrounding a YouTuber that you don't watch. Just because you don't know the basis for a joke doesn't mean the person who is using it is a troll /facepalm
