Depends on how much you make use of your bluray, I have a HD TV in my room, and watching Avatar on Blu-ray was the next best thing behind watching it in 3D.Sean.Devlin said:I don't doubt that many people are happy with the PS3 as it is a good system, but I was really asking about the points you brought up.Mimsofthedawg said:I'm not going to get in a flame war for you, but to stay "subjective" I'll say that having all consoles and a nice lap top, my PS3 was the best buy and most worth the money.Sean.Devlin said:100$ more than what for what hard drive? What's free internet? What does blu-ray do except costing 35$ for a stupid movie?Mimsofthedawg said:PS3 is actually the greatest value (you pay $100 more and get a large harddrive, free internet, and blu ray), but the marketing is poor and the community is lacking sufficient support (although I've found gamers on the PSN to be overall more pleasant to game with).
I'm glad I'm not shopping for a console anymore, the misinformation is staggering.![]()
I'm in a similar boat, I have my gaming laptop, PS3 and Wii, but I only got rid of my 360 because of the fact the games I'd like for 360 are on PC, and as I am inclined to use PC more, didnt make logical sense having the two of them.
As for harddrive space, it's only bigger on PS3 because its made more use out of, can't begin to tell you how many games I needed to install to it to avoid load times.
