Does anyone have an automatic, negative biasedness whenever they hear a certain sentance or phrase? You hear a promise in which, out of gut instinct, you just know is likely to be an outright lie or at least won't meet the expectations they're making something out to be?

I was reading a review to a music CD just now when the dreaded "There really isn't a bad track to be found here" sentance cropped up. whenever that's said, I just know there will be some, if not likely plenty of duds on the said record.

Anyone else?

"Although Infinity Ward gave up on dedicated servers, CoD MW 2 will still be a blast to play online on pc."
Really.

"I completely agree with your point, but!"

That, that right there is when I know they're going to say something really stupid. Mainly because if you completely agreed with my point, why continue further?

"Exclusive" usually makes me groan in that way. I'll be watching TV a lot today so I'll keep you posted as I get reminded.

Ah...Joker maps.
So epic.
So what are his abilities? Can you still grapple and do take-downs or what?

Anything printed by the Daily Mail makes me automatically think "And where did they pull that 'fact' from?"

If its new then it isn't improved.

Yeh you can pretty do everything Batman does just in Jokers style, he also uses a pretty big Pistol aswell, if you cant get some enemies in a line you can take down multiple foes.
Okay, I'll bite. What's the joker style of everything?

Describing someone as an Old Soul.
Or saying a couple has a Spiritual Connection.

Don't get me wrong, I have no strong opinion one way or the other on if those those things exist. But the people that actually say that stuff are loopy idiots 90% of the time.

"Studies have shown". Please understand that studies have shown that there definitely is a God, that God is just make-believe, that jews are an inferior race, that jews are not an inferior race, that chocolate is healthy, that chocolate is horribly unhealthy, that evolution isn't possible, that we undeniably did evolve from monkeys, that people are more intelligent than before, that they are more stupid than ever, that women aren't as good drivers as men, that men aren't as good drivers as women, and that the lack of swashbuckling pirates is what causes global warming.

It's worse when the doctor/dentist/whatever says "this will hurt". Because you know that when they say "this won't hurt a bit" it hurts like hell, so when even they admit it will hurt, you know you are a few seconds away from experiencing the worst pain imaginable.

When a woman on the phone says "I just need to say one quick thing to your mother" it ALWAYS means "I need to talk to your mother for a very long time, but it ought to be more acceptable if I'm lying."

"Just a small scratch" - when having an injection. Yes sometimes. But sometimes it feels as though somes stuck a hot poker in your arm.

"I'll look in to it" - Generally a phrase at work that usually indicates the person is going to walk away and promptly forget. Then when questioned about it later they'll visibly shuffle and make up a lie.
