Me and my mate walked into gamestsation and found Z.O.E. in the preowned section, had a small fight over who saw it first and agreed to take turns to complete it. Is my turn now!

I was able to pick up the special edition of Mass Effect for about $20.00. It came with the Bring Down the Sky DLC, making of videos, and most of the music from the game. One that does not pertain to gaming is I found the Animatrix for $5.00 at one of the local dollar stores. A CD was also included with it that contained all of the music in the Animatrix. I thought it was a pretty good find.

I saw Panzer Dragoon Orta, a pretty hard game to find, for about 5 or 6 dollars at Gamestop. Didn't have any money at the time. Next time I came and looked for it, with money this time, it was gone. That was depressing.

(Tomba! for "under-appreciated then, but overpriced now" category. Hell even old demo discs that have portions of the game sell for as much as brand new games)
Really?
Fuck, I'm pretty sure I threw out all my old demo discs a few months ago and one of them had a demo of that game on it.

On topic: Uhhh, I dunno really. The only time I can really remember getting something that was brilliant and far cheaper than normal was Disgea: Dark Hero Days on my PSP for about 25% of the regular price.
Yeah,

Hopefully the wiki is wrong this time but there is a good chance you threw away a couple hundred bucks if they were in good condition.

Rule number 1: never throw tech away
-give to someone else
-sell
-store in case you want it later or it appreciates in value.

I got the id pack for 20$. All the good shooters of the 1990s in 1 single collection, then again it was a steam holiday sale. Do those count?

Well I buy games off Steam, so I can find all sorts of awesome games for low low prices.

Just in the past few months or so I've gotten Psychonauts, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat, Jade Empire, Deus Ex, Beyond Good & Evil, Serious Sam HD (both encounters) and TF2, and none of those cost more than $10 with the exception of Jade Empire. Hell, I got Deus Ex for $2.50.

I got Mirrors Edge when it was still pretty new for about 32 euros and not a used copy but still in the plastic and now I see it going for between 7-10 euros used so it's even more of a bargain.

There's a shop in the city sells classic consoles, accessories and games so I pick up PS2 games there for about 10 euros each which is probably a little expensive for them but I got Timesplitters 2, Beyond Good and Evil, Ace Combat the Belkan War and Zone of the Enders.

And the best bargain I got was Portal on steam for the grand price of zero, zilch, nada, completely free a couple of months back when they were running a promotion and advertised it here.
