Well, I believe the word "fuck" can really drive a point home, especially if you make a point of not swearing often. So while you are entitled to your opinion, saying in a roundabout way (at least when I read it) that swearing makes you sound less intelligent irritates me enough to disregard the other 3 pages of dialogue to see if anyone called you on this and do it myself.

I get most of those, but I'm curious about why you hate FFX. (I mean, I know it has significant flaws, but this is about fiery, impassioned hatred, which seems a little in excess for that title.)

As a standalone title, you're correct. It's not worthy of that level of hatred. It's simply an over-polished turd and the only one of the games to surpass the extremely overhyped FF7 in pure suckage.

However, if you take it in the context of what it meant for the direction that the Final Fantasy series as a whole has gone since, it becomes less excessive.
