If you are in college just talk to someone about something. You will make friends really quickly. If you are not in college then just join some clubs...or wait for college

I have met some very nice people on this sight and none will get mad at you unless your a troll or something. In fact I get a lot of PM's mainly on Avatars, so if you see one that interest's you then PM the person because you might share a common interest.

if you look for friends online, you'll probabally tend to find people who don't have friends for good reason. I think you should try getting a hobby that involves other people, that's generally a good way to meet people.

I'd probably recommend playing an online game to find friends. It might be hard to do at times, but I found several of my closest friends on Guild Wars.

Yeah unfortunately that is not an option right now. I am on a loaner PC and it is a POS lol.

Unless someone can reccomend a decent browser game

I would say Runescape it's free and fairly low tech. But it's Grind-tastic.
