I have 800 Microsoft Points. Suggestions please?

NOOOOO they took Doom off XBLA, I would've gotten that.

What?!? F*cking heresy! Well I've just checked for you and Doom 2 is still there. I can recommend the XBLA version of Doom 2, id added a new chapter as an XBLA exclusive so even if you're a seasoned Doom 2 player there's new content there.

Ive never played Doom though. Will it matter?

Short answer: No.

Long answer: No, the 'story' [small]*stifled laughter*[/small] in the Doom games is minimal.

Plot of 1: You're on Mars. There are demons everywhere. Kill them.
Plot of 2: You've arrived back on Earth from Mars. There are demons everywhere. Kill them.

I'm not even joking. The storyline (such as it was) was never really developed in game apart from a paragraph of text between chapters. It's just arcade shooting fun - get stuck in.

I was considering The Dishwasher, but I didn't know whether to get Dead Samurai or Vampire Smile.

If you want your 800 points to last you a while, get a great action-adventure game CLASSIC that has enough variety to shame most games and was forgotten by most people back in 2003. I bought it with my 800 points, loving it a second time.

I heard beyond good and evil is good but people are also telling me to get shadow complex and psychonauts.

I recall psychonauts being pretty cheap.

Here's the thing I own the disc for psychonauts and I beat it up to the meat level but then I moved and lost the discs. I'm just worried I'll buy psychonauts and then find the discs somewhere. I'd be beating myself up for wasting money.
