So, yeah. I have a HP Mini netbook (the older one), and was wondering if the Escapist community knows a few good games that would run well on it.
Nope, FPS sucks balls.Ziadaine said:MAYBE Minecraft?
Knew that already, but thanks.chaosyoshimage said:I heard Torchlight has a netbook mode, so there's that...
Thanks, I bought Dungeons of Dredmore on Steam a few months ago (which probably works, haven't installed Steam on my netbook yet), and I am thinking of using emulators.Episode42 said:Well i've got a Samsung netbook (1Ghz, 1Gb RAM) which has Steam installed onto it. While it can't run anything too fancy, it'll run Half Life pretty damned well, aside from some minor lag in online deathmatches. Most games from around the same era will probably run, although do check first.
Anything before about 2000 is almost a guarantee. Steam has lots of low power indie games for low low prices which will be suitable as well.
I also have a Mega Drive emulator running on it.
I would suggest more, but Half Life is pretty much all i need on it for now.
