Does each level feel meaty and lengthy like the original Duke 3D game? As opposed to about three check points penned into a couple of areas (as is with your modern FPS) and already we're onto the next level.
Hope that made sense!
They're pretty long, but I'm worried that they're gonna be few. Also, no boring cover based combat! So far they're linear but pretty wide for combat.

Does Duke have regenerating health? Is he limited to two weapons?
Please tell me the demo was just a fluke...

I also want to know the answer to this.
He has regenerating health and it fills almost instantly as long as you don't get hit. I'm pretty sure you only have 2

Which is so damn moronic it's ridiculous, almost stopped me from playing!

How about you try posting some gameplay videos of it? I'd like to see how it gets started and how good it is.
Also:
-Do you move fast like shooters of old, or do you crawl forward like modern ones?
-Do your guns have ridiculous ammo limits (i.e. only 120 rounds for a gun that takes one clip to kill basic enemies?) because I'm really starting to hate that.
-Are the guns accurate enough (Do they fly all over the place like a green as grass Commander Shephard, or do they fire as accurately as Marcus' Fenix's Lancer?)
-Is the dialogue at least funny? Is it overly referential? Is it oversaturated with language or not quite dirty enough?
-Judging it as a regular old shooter and not compared to its famous older brethren, is it actually a good game or a quick cash in?
-How do I get used to trackball mice? Because I found one in the IT storage room and it's cool but it's damn uncomfortable.
I've got it for the 360 (all others were sold out), so can't capture footage. I guess I can, but don't know how.
Duke felt a bit sluggish to move at first, but got used to it. He's definitely faster than modern standards, but it seems he's slower when not in combat. Still not fast enough. Even in a driving section it felt really slow. But he can run very fast, and sideways, so it's not all bad.
They have ridiculously short ammo limits, usually around 69 when enemies take around 5 to kill. You can also of course pick up and throw stuff. And you can do your good old kick to decapitate downed enemies.
Not sure about accuracy as so far the combat is in very close quarters, which is fun with the hand to hand combat. I'd say they're not that accurate.
The dialogue is so-so. A lot of sexual innuendos as explained in my earlier post but not a lot of longer conversations, just a quick jab and off. Nothing really stand out as funny to me, just a few lines that are good comedically. Could have to do with the fact that you don't initiate a conversation, they start automatically when you approach someone. It's a pretty good balance between dirty and not, but still no sex. Disappointing >.< There's one or two obvious self references but most are in the environment. The way the Duke sees himself is of course everywhere. Should have been more references, but who knows what's to come?
Compared to other modern shooters, it's definitely refreshing. The combat is fun, big guns and no cover, that's always great! I'm pretty happy with it, but nothing has really wowed me yet. Like I said, not the best of the genre but still good.
Use it a lot.
Anything else? I'm gonna have to stop playing for now, as I've got to go. I'll be back!
