I have either just been shown a reason to watch MLP or had a great anime ruined for me

A moment ago I decided to listen to the intro to Samurai Champloo, a great anime with a cool soundtrack. If you haven't heard/seen the intro here's a link:

Now after I finished it I noticed a related video entitled "Pony Champloo". My first reaction was "what have those crazy bronies done now" and, out of curiousity, I clicked on it.
This was what greeted me:

This is either the first legitimate reason I have seen for me to watch MLP or the reason why I may never be able to watch Samurai Champloo without thinking of MLP.
So what do you think Escapist, should I go down the rabbit hole and see what waits or attempt to erase my memory?

EDIT: I notice there is also a Pony Bebop but I will not allow myself to go anywhere near it.

I must confess as an openly admitted (But not obnoxiously proud *shudders*) brony the Pony Bebop one is quite killer and worth checking out. Also until I end up seeing an entire series redone with ponies I'm usually safe to watch intro stuff with ponies dubbed in.

Cannot be arsed to check other Anime sites for it though... Looks like Animefreak is not Pony friendly

I was able to enjoy MLP but seeing stuff like this around Escapist forms is vary annoying. In a way is like someone pushing you into a pool while just starting putting your feet in.

A. Thats the only pony picture I've ever posted and they are very rarely posted otherwise, I haven't seen one in a none MLP thread in age, and they just end in people whining about MLP.

B. It was perfectly relavent.

Heh, there's a familiar bit. My interest was first piqued with a similar cross-over-ish video (My Little Savages, which cracked me up). I say give it a shot. Fair warning though: The first few episodes are not indicative of the rest of the series. Most accounts I've seen have the viewers think the first few episodes are alright but don't really start to get into the series in earnest until around episode 7 or so.

Sorry to upset you and you do have excellent points. I don't see much ponies everywhere any more.
I stand corrected. Also I have nothing against you, The chart was the last picture of ponies that doesn't make any sense at the time but it does now
