Actually it was amusing to see that you didn't reply to any of them, even the ones without insults, regardless of how well they disproved some of your argument.. Which brings me to think you can't defend your argument, but meh, most of it's opinion anyways, and I respect that.Krylock said:I read through the last few pages and didn't even bother replying and defending my argument, because every post was a valve fanboy throwing insults around like a mindless idiot.
I don't think there's anything wrong to appeal to the younger crowd, especially when there's so few of them into PC gaming. I don't know about you, but I've seen much more little children playing on consoles. Appealing to the younger audience is good for Valve, if they keep kids playing their games now along with the older audience they're more likely to grow up PC gamers.Krylock said:That is one of my main problems with Valve, is some of the reasons you stated. It almost seems like their games are made for the younger casual gamer crowd. I prefer a more upbeat game that is made for the more mature audience, and actually takes time and skill to be good at. And no i'm not a coD fanboy. I'm only a Epic, and Bungie fanboy. I gave up PC gaming a while back and moved onto Console gaming. Simply because it is more competitive, fast pace, and enjoyable while still being simple.
As for consoles being more competitive.. :/ I won't argue against Halo having a spot in competitive/professional/whatever-you'd-like-to-call-it tournaments.. But overall consoles are marketed to the casual gamers.. It's easier to get into than PC gaming, and cheaper, and it's advertised everywhere..
I respect your opinion and all sir but really some of your points in the OP are bullshit.. Sorry.
