Your post would leave me to be otherwise. If you can't roleplay properly, don't do it at all. Besides, it's not like it really matters to Commander Hepatitis Shepard.
Hepatitis Shepard....I'm seriously gonna name my Shepard that next time I play Mass Effect(so I can import it to Mass Effect 2). Thanks for the idea!

Actually...

...You can save her....if you get there fast enough!
Get there fast enough???
Joker moves like a gimped snail!
So... does that mean she's a romance option?

I must admit, in DA:O my male character went from Morrigan to Zevran to Lelianna. It was quite amusing to make a manslut character and nobody batted an eyelid lol :) Are you saying I could've slept with the Dwarf aswell?! Damn my character missed out on getting laid again! Although Oghren did mistake my character for being female at one point so perhaps I chose the wrong convo options.

Yeah that thread got way out of hand. I was just under the impression that female homosexual relationships existed in ME2 but not male ones. Is that false? I've never played a female character in either ME1 or ME2 so I wouldn't know.

Um not if you want the achievement for Paramour. What I mean is...

after the crew gets kidnapped there's a time limit to save them. So you can stop her dying but that's about it as far as I'm aware.

EDIT: oops! apologies for the double post

'FemShep?' Wow, that's just awful.

I'd have gone with 'She-pard.'
FemShep isn't a new concept.

OP: I refuse to play as a girl in a game if I can play as a guy, it just feels wrong. Plus play through the game for the story, don't have sex, and have teh sex with Liara in ME3.

You could just not have sexy time in ME 2. Course with the ME games not having sexy time is like not chainsawing dudes is gears of war.

It's a funny thing playing a female character in a video game and having male NPCs hit on you, although then again not as weird as playing one in an MMO like WoW and having real guys hit on you when you happen to create a hot character.

*Spoilers*

But still, the one thing I at least appreciated in the first game was the fact I could dump Alenko's advancements and go with the Asari.

But in ME2 I've read Jack doesn't swing both ways and you're stuck with nothing but dudes or alien dudes to sex up (and no Kelly doesn't count)....so now I have no reason to port over my female Shepard.

Well I can, but it just won't be the same....I mean come on Bioware, in DA:eek:rigins you can have gay medieval sex with a male dwarf.

Just wondering where Bioware was going with this since the majority of gamers are still pretty much males.

I could pretend I'm the NPC watching my FemShep get banged..but....ehhhhhhhhh

Yeah, yeah, I know what you guys might be thinking....and no I'm not that...0o

It's a small gripe I have with the game but I felt like bringing it up...lol

Keep in mind that your FemShep can carry over to ME3 regardless of who she does it with, or if she doesn't do it with anyone, in ME2. That alone is reason enough to play through with her.

lmao XD wow, I could've gone the rest of my life quite happily without seeing that but damn it was funny! Just imagine if Gimley and Legolas had gotten closer during the lord of the rings films...

They made a male homosexual kissing scene for ME1 but never actually put it in the finished game. It's on youtube somewhere but I can't understand why they would go to the trouble of making it and then not put it in...?

Bah sucks for you. I'm still satisfied with my male character being able to get Tali. Started a female character but I haven't been playing much... Anyway, being able to do a lesbian romance shouldn't be your sole drive for playing.

Jennifer Hale is a pretty darn good voice actor. That's more than enough reason for me to play FemShep.

So...don't do any of the romances. Hell, ME3 will probably reward you for staying loyal to old whatsername. And it'll save you the trouble of getting Mordin to figure out how human/turian relations are going to work logistically.

Or you could, ya know, look at porn on the internet instead of jerking it to partial videogame nudity. Just sayin'.

At the end, you stare longingly at a picture of Liara (if she was your love interest) before the final battle, so chances are it will carry over to the 3rd. I preferred playing as the female Shepherd. Her voice acting's alot better.

Hey, Garrus is a gal thank you very much. Don't believe me? Show me a female Turian to prove otherwise. Just because she says she's a guy doesn't mean it is so. I've seen The Crying Game. I know how this works. My Gal Garrus just has a very throaty voice is all.

In all seriousness though, I'm sure you're not the only one bothered by this. The guys over at Penny Arcade talk about using fem shep just so they can be a flaming lesbian. Maybe Bioware has hit their same sex quota for the year?
