Hey, here are some questions for you, there are too many to make a thread for each one, so I chucked them in here. I'm in a curious mood :)

1) Is the new PoP movie worth seeing?

2) Is the Secrets of Monkey Island: SE on Steam worth getting? I love point and click adventures, but I'm not sure how long this game lasts.

3) Why does everyone hate brussel sprouts, I tried some for the first time, they weren't bad.

4) Who else doesn't care about the FIFA World Cup? I feel like I'm the only one.

5) What do you guys think of Red Dead's multiplayer? I think it's OK, but doesn't stand up to the phenomenal single player.

6) Is Cracked.com becoming less funny? They seem to be scraping at the bottom of the barrel for ideas, I mean '8 Psychotic Overeactions by Adults at Youth Sporting Events', really? Unless I'm missing the joke, of course.

7) Are there any other French people on the Escapist? I feel I'm the only one representing the team here.

8) Any other Year 11s (I've moved to the UK, yes) doing their GCSEs? How are you finding them?

Aaaaaaand that's it for now :)

1 - I don't know, I haven't seen it, nor do I really want to

2 - Yes

3 - Because people generally hate vegetables

4 - The what now?

5 - I don't give a shit about online multiplayer unless it's on Demon's Souls. That's really the only online I've ever liked

6 - Maybe. I thought today's article was good though. Still, Michael Swaim is the funniest person there

7 - No clue

8 - Don't know what that means.

Lyon, a couple of years back. At least here I don't have to spend eight and a half hours at school every day.

Because people develop a bias against deep green vegetables as a young child, where the smell overwhelms them.

Smell is even more a significant factor in food when someone is at a young age because young children's noses are closer to the plate.

I'm going to have to skip most the questions, so here's the answer to some:

Caring about FIFA - Don't, how you say, "give a flying shit" about sports, FIFA included.

Are there any French Escapists - I believe there may be a usergroup, if not you can make one. As far as I know, no.

Year 11 - my brother is, and he said they went quick for him. However I'm not sure if there's a difference between American and UK's testing system.

there is. you do a series of exams in uk over the whole year.
In american/canada we do them all in one week for each semester. and we only go to school for those exams and get to go home early.

Well, we had a 2 hour lunch break, but that was more fucking irritating that anything else. French schooling is fucked up.

1) Is the new PoP movie worth seeing?
Don't know

2) Is the Secrets of Monkey Island: SE on stop worth getting? I love point and click adventures, but I'm not sure how long this game lasts.
I got it for £8 or something as far as I remember. It's not really that long no. Might be cheaper now, might not be. Don't know whether you should or not.

3) Why does everyone hate brussel sprouts, I tried some for the first time, they weren't bad.
I love 'em. It took you until Year 11 to try them? Strange one.. well prolly not as bad as my mate.

4) Who else doesn't care about the FIFA World Cup? I feel like I'm the only one.
I don't.

5) What do you guys think of Red Dead's multiplayer? I think it's OK, but doesn't stand up to the phenomenal single player.
Dunno can't seem to get a copy of it. Game, HMV and Gamestation were out of stock, went to Tesco today and they only have the PS3 version.

6) Is Cracked.com becoming less funny? They seem to be scraping at the bottom of the barrel for ideas, I mean '8 Psychotic Overeactions by Adults at Youth Sporting Events', really? Unless I'm missing the joke, of course.
Never been on it.

7) Are there any other French people on the Escapist? I feel I'm the only one representing the team here.
Boo

8) Any other Year 11s (I've moved to the UK, yes) doing their GCSEs? How are you finding them?
A related saying would be "easy peasy lemon squeezy". Didn't revise much for them and got them all A-C. It's A-Levels that matter somewhat.

1- someone I know said it was good, not exactly challenging intellectually, but a bucket of fun.

2-Not my kinda thing, but hell, life is short, why not go for it?

3- Brussel sprouts are lush, I eat tons of them at christmas.

4- Football isn't my thing, I prefer Rugby. Would be nice if we won something though.

5- Wouldn't know.

6- It's better than nothing. I try to adopt a 'don't like, don't read' kinda policy.

7- I don't know any other french people round here. Viva le you!

8- GCSE's are a breeze compared to exams in later life. It sucks when you're doing them though. Good luck!

EDIT: Screwed that up

Anyway, I couldn't care less about the world cup. I thought it was alright if you can get enough friends but the random players tend to be complete douchebags. Im Year 12 which is the year we do GCSEs here. I did my phyiscs exam today, easiest thing I've done so far.

1) Ain't seen it, but doubt it
2) Never played a Monkey Island game
3) Becuase many people eat them when they're steamed or overcooked, they're best undercooked, crunchy and crispy, also people don't like the taste of a slight spicy fart that you can pick up, I for one ignore that and focus on the rets of it
4) I don't care either, its an international football game to which a FIFA yyyy is much better as they have clubs and international teams with custom cups
5) My mate brought the game round my house today but I don't have Live, the single players pretty darn good though
6) Never visited cracked.com
7) Pas à ma connaissance
8) I'm taking them and I'm fiding them pretty easy, General Studies was a bit meh, so was Biology but thats my fauly for not revising much, Chemistry and Physics I sailed through. I don't have to do Maths or German 'cause I took them a year early =D

My family's French, and since Brussel Sprouts aren't eaten over there, I didn't have the chance to. I'm not a fussy eater at all :)

Actually, I tried 'em when I was younger, and I only did it because they paid me $2 to do so for that exact reason. The biased part, anyways. I will not eat another unless I'm paid more, I genuinely didn't like it.

1) From what I hear yes. Do it. Like I am sometime soon.

3) I love veggies. Brussel sprouts are no exception but a lot of people don't like them because a lot of people just generally don't like veggies.

4) I don't care either

5) If it's anything like GTA IV's multiplayer then it'll be fun for five seconds but then get incredibly BORING.

6) It's really hit and miss with that site. After then got rebooted cracked tv I started losing my patience. Plus the amount of trolls make me want to murder babies.

7) . . . . *sigh* . . . [obligatory French cowards Americans brave strong joke here] No but really I'm not French but I actually like you guys. Which I guess is blasphemy according to some of my friends. *sigh*ignoranceispointless*sigh*

That's all I can help with. :)
