I have to say I really appreciate the character "Morrigan" from Dragon Age

Because she shows that no matter how attractive, well worded and scantily clad you make a female character. Her personality alone can make her completely and utterly unlikable. I spent an entire playthrough of that game TRYING to like her. I did everything for her. Took her to bed. Saved her life. Gave her gifts and treated her well. In the end. When it was time to save the world she refused to participate if she did not get something in return. I could honestly say that I would kick that woman out of bed. Purely based on her personality.

I adored her. Why? She seemed like she didn't want to be there, even in the game. Just like me. her distaste was WHY I enjoyed Dragon Age even in the slightest.

I thought she was a great charecter with some great moments, hearing her oice crack as she realises that you genuinly don't want anything in treturn for helping her, the first time she realises she has a freind, I was almost tearing up.

I loved that. In most stories the hero slowly gets close to the ***** of the group and eventually she opens up and you find out she's really a nice person. Morrigan on the otherhand started off a *****, then you got close, she opened up to you and she really was a *****. Once you accepted that she acted like less of a ***** to you, but she was still the same ***** to everyone else.

I agree. Underneath all that *****, there was a whole load of more ***** to be had. All and all, it was a bitchfest, and a good one at that.

But srsly, I liked her because she was funny and sarcastic, and a bit more original than the rest of the crew you had to play with.
Wish she would return for DA:II, but..Ah well. At least we got Anders.

I liked Morrigan because she served to remind me that I was playing the game the way I was to win.

Example: Every time I went to help NPCs she'd say it was a waste of time, all I wanted to do is turn around and explain that they'd have a good quest reward. That's when it hit me; I was behaving exactly like she would if she knew what I knew.
My thoughts exactly. Gotta love her pragmatism.

I similarly thought she was awesome. Too bad the game bored me after a while.

I liked her, if only for her really awesome voice. Something about it man, it was alluring. I tried to be nice to her up until the ritual, and how steadfastly she turned her back on my, and my Warden hated her from then on.

Claudia Black. Best voice ever.
