I found Fallout 3 pretty repetetive, shallow and buggy after the first few days of play... the strange part being that most of the bugs don't appear until a while in to your game.

Dude, Bioshock is not a scary game. Okay, there a few scenes that are cleverly done with the intent to ... un-nerve you, but seriously... if you've played through GoW, Dead Rising and Assassins Creed (for the "please don't see me, please don't see me" factor) then you'll be fine with Bioshock, plus it's an absolutely beautiful game in terms of art direction. Though I've only played it on PC so can't comment on how it looks on consoles.

Just put on some disturbed, get a shotgun and run in.

hey, i brought the collectors edition of fallout 3 the day of its release and it was the first game i played on ultra high on the first PC i ever built myself. so it holds a better place for me. but it is a slightly better game. and given how great fallout 3 is. far cry 2 is AMAZING. it has nothing to do with far cry at all exept the developers.

PS far cry 1 SUCKS BALLS!.

My English could be better but it seems that you think that Far Cry 2 has the same developers as Far Cry, if you do i would like to inform you that that's not the case.

Bioshock starts off scary. Then you die and respawn 20 feet away, with no penulty. After that its just creepy, though there are some specific moments when you will jump (dead bodys jumping up and the morg guy spring to mind)

I'm thankful for all the answers, but I'm still a bit unsure about what to get.

1. I know you say you're easily scared, but you should get Bioshock, I'm pleading with you. And it isn't really scary, I believe GameInformer put it best. "It makes you feel like a fish out of water" It is one of the most beautiful and haunting games around. And although it's creepy at first, once you gain plasmids and weapons you'll feel like a badass.

2. Fallout 3 I recommend if you like the massive open world game, but it won't be fast paced if thats what you're looking for.
3. Waw is a good WW2 shooter if you've never played one before, but it scored considerably lower than other games that you're thinking of
4. Yes Cod4 has awesome multiplayer, probably the best of all of them, it would be a good game to get.

Really it all comes down to what you want, Do you want linearity in an fps or Massive open world RPG

Oh and i definitely recommend getting cod4 over 5, theyre so similar but 4 is better

Okay, you don't know what you're missing.

I just can't stomach the underwater thing. I almost drowned as a kid, and I can barely handle being in a swimming pool.

whoops. i thought that CRYTECH made both games, my bad. that said. FARCRY 1 SUCKS BALLS BUT FAR CRY 2 IS FIRETRUCKING AWSOME! it kind or reminds me of S.T.A.L.K.E.R exept FarCry2 is good.
