sorry, the scene without crappy music added apparently isnt available anywhere easy to find... but the part from the movie Click where Adam Sandler's character goes back to the last moment he was with his father (Henry Winkler). ive only teared up to it once, but it always gets me close every time i see it. its emotional to me because it reminds me of me and my dad, and because my dad is 60 years old now (im 18) and i know ill probably lose him to old age sooner than most people, and i dont think i would be able to handle it well.

OT:
The two elderly people lying in bed as water floods their room gets me nearly every time. The movie gets a lot of hate, but the sinking goes down as one of my most heart-wrenching scenes in a movie.
I have to admit, I cried when this happened:

Start here and work your way through the rest of the series. There's multiple opportunities to get you to cry like a baby.

Toad gets killed by a car

It's a forgotten classic from my childhood, I probably have more fondness for it than others might do since I view it through rose-tinted spectacles, but I still recommend it anyway.

Yes.

Do this.

Clannad can make robots cry.
Good sirs, I do believe it made the devil cry and also Chuck Norris...and everyone in the world. Enough said.

Self-explanatory title. Post something sad/beautiful, it can be anything as long as it gets those waterworks a flowin'.

I'll start

EDIT: wow, the stuff that some people are posting here is making the above video seem fucking pathetic. Good job guys, I'm crying like a little ***** over here :,)
Read Cities in Flight by James Blish. The last page will have you bawling your eyes out. Plus it's a damn good book.

I remembe the movie reaching this point when the rest of my family was in the room. I had to leave the room, because I just couldn't keep myself from crying.

The Futurama episodes 'Jurassic Bark', 'Luck of the Fryish', and to a lesser extent 'Lethal Inspection' are depressing tear-jerkers.
And watching all of Elfen Lied, or the foreign language film 'Moonchild' are almost guaranteed to make you cry, provided that you have a soul.
elfen lied remains to this day one of the only things that has made me cry, although i had read the manga completely beforehand. now the theme song just makes me tear up a little still. i count myself lucky as all hell the real ending wasn't in the anime, i don't think i'd be able to cope with that.

Nyuu/lucy literally MELTS TO DEATH from overusing her power to protect kouta and the others, and to re-knit kouta's body after he gets shot. i think that would almost destroy me to watch in animated form, since i almost cried from the manga(or did, can't remember).

There are a couple movies and a couple things here and there, but one thing that always makes me well up is thinking about all the men and women that died in WW2.
Something about their sacrifice and their courage always brings tears to my eyes. Not really tears of sadness, or tears of happiness of course, just tears really... Hell, just thinking about it now makes me well up...

If you're into musicals go watch RENT. There's one particular part that gets me every gorram time.

If you watch this and manage to not cry you have failed the Turing test.
Well, guess I'm a bot then. I just really really didn't get the point of this. Was the bird killing itself or was he trying to safe the trees or what.
The kiwi, shown here, is a flightless bird.
He wanted to experience flight, even if it meant death.

Nothing's worth fighting for. It will all be dust one day, and no-one will remember you. Also, we're never really happy, all we can do is smother that realisation under mindless commercialism.

Try this one. I thought it was pretty sad!
I watched most of the videos in this thread and nothing but that just flattened me.
