Well I've never played
Okami
System Shock 2
Half Life 1
Planescape: Torment I think it's called?
Minecraft
Amnesia
Countless NES/SNES/Genesis games. (I started playing games on the Playstation)
Final Fantasy I-VI (I have played IV for the DS though)

Also, shame on those who have never played Shadow of the Colossus and/or Ico! Shame on you all!

Just kidding. :)

captcha: uncharted island

Oh! Thanks captcha! I've never played any of the Uncharted games either. Despite the fact that I have the first game. It was a Christmas present and I haven't so much as opened the case though.

Never played a JRPG.

Any of them.

Unless you count Kingdom Hearts 1... which I regret...
combines two things I can't stand...

stock JRPG characters... and Disney.

Seconded. Other series or games I've never touched include:

-Okami
-KOTR
-Metal Gear Solid
-Deus Ex
-Team Fortress
-Dragon Age
-Baldur's Gate
-Diablo
-Final Fantasy
-Ico[footnote]I'm probably going to regret this, but...I've played Shadow of the Colossus, and I think the ending is pretentious crap. But maybe that's because I haven't played Ico.[/footnote]
-Literally any and all JRPGs

Although worse then any of that: I played Bioshock 2, and I actually think it's pretty good. Not as good as the first (not even close) but pretty good nonetheless. AND the first Bioshock is my favorite game of all time. I just think it's quality isn't undermined in any way by an unnecessary sequel.

I'm not very interesting, even in video games. Here's some of my dark secrets mundanities:

-I told some people I liked the creation mode of MineCraft more than survival. They didn't appreciate that opinion.
-I own a PS1, PS2 and PS3, but I've never played the Metal Gear games.
-I own a PS3 and haven't played Uncharted or Journey.
-I've never finished Half-Life legitimately. The beginning of that game is awesome, but I always lose interest by the time the soldiers show up and just no clip through the rest.
-I disliked almost every dungeon in Ocarina of Time. The best parts were all the not-a-dungeon parts. Maybe that's why I have an affinity for open-world games, because I don't have to go into another freakin' cave! Conversely, I quite liked Skyrim's dungeons. Flip-flopping ftw, I'll run for President, they'll love me!
-Alan Wake's gameplay is a snooze-fest. I want to see through the story, but I can't stand the actual game. The lighting is hotness though.
-The first Assassin's Creed was amazing.
-I'm secretly even more boring than I appear.
-I barely finish any of the games I buy.
-I played Demon's Souls for 20 minutes and have yet to play it again. I own the game and am indifferent to it!!!!! (I'll get around to it by the age of 50 when my backlog is gone)
-I've enjoyed every single Mario or Mario-related game I've ever played (even Mario is Missing, Mario Party 1-7 and the sports spin-offs). That'd be around 20-30 games I'd guess.
-Super Mario Sunshine is really good.
-I really liked Sonic Shuffle.
-I imagine people who unlock the ultimate weapons in Final Fantasy games, beat Emerald weapon or similar "feats" are nuts.
-I got to the first dungeon of Wind Waker and then never played the game again.
-I really liked the first two Halo games. (Haven't played one since, went to PC instead of 360, Wii or PS3)

The only Zelda game I've ever enjoyed enough to finish was Wind Waker...

EDIT: Or for a more joke answer - The only Zelda games I've ever enjoyed enough to finish were Okami and Darksiders! :D

I've never played Planescape: Torment, because hardcore D&D ruleset gameplay is really off-putting.

I've never played Morrowind for more than an hour because the combat is so ridiculously outdated that I can't overlook it for the world.

I've never played Team Fortress 2 because I'm really bad at games that focus heavily on twitch-skill and I can only handle so much competitive gaming, which League of Legends currently mostly occupies.

I've never played a 3D Mario game, though I've been thinking about Galaxy.

I haven't played Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance because I can't justify buying a 3DS just for it, no matter how much a fan of the series I am.

Also, despite having played World of Warcraft for the last five years, I've never played any of the Warcraft RTS games, because I always get my ass kicked in RTS games by cheating AI so they annoy me to the point of being unable to play them.

I haven't played....
Any game exclusive to N64...any.
Deus Ex 1 but that's gonna be fixed at some point.
Haven't played Fallout 2 to nearly the extent I want to.
I haven't played Quake or Doom.
Even though Timesplitters 2 is my favorite game of all time I haven't played the third game.
I haven't played Okami (but I don't really want to either this was for teh lulz)
Swords and sorcery RPG's are a favorite genre of mine and I haven't played any Diablo (I've heard 2 is amazing)
I haven't played a single official Mario game since I was 4 or 5

Half-Life.

Never played it or ever felt any inclination to play it.

Now, to make my daring escape! *leaps through window straight on to horseback*
I played Half Life 2 and its sequels, and that was pretty good.
I tried playing the first one,but quit early as the dated graphics put me off.(This isn't the always the case.I played Silent Hill and Grim Fandango last year and didn't care that they were old games.)I'm playing the Black Mesa remake though, and enjoying it,so if you do ever play it,go with the mod.

Games I've not played? Pretty much EVERYTHING.Mario,Lara Croft,Final Fantasy etc-you name it,it's likely I've not played it.In my defense,I'm a 45 year old female who for a long time held the erroneous assumption that video games were only killfests that guys would enjoy.(In my defense, the only gamer I knew in my twenties mostly played loud combat games.) who barely played ANY video games until I got interested in Portal in 2008.Seriously,the only video games I'd played until then were a few arcade games in the late 1970s,Lemmings and Myst in the early 90s,and a few casual games like Elf Bowling or some text games like Drug Wars.I think maybe the first game I played was Alone in the Dark after I finally got my own pc in 2001.I'm trying to make up for lost time though, and my Steam library is pretty massive now.I don't have a lot of shooters in my list as I'm a pretty unco-ordinated left-hander who sucks at button-mashing.But latecomer to the party that I am,I'm having a blast discovering all the worlds video games have to offer.
Do I win?

I have never played any Final Fantasy game and probably never will. I don't like anime aesthetics, they are weird.

But, Portal. I picked it up off steam for £4 this summer, and it was easily the most impressive older game I've ever played.
I don't think I've ever heard portal referred to as an old game before. You must be way young; because when I think 'old' game I come up with things like Syndicate, Crusader No Regret and Ultima 7.

Better question for you then.... What have you played? Mario is the only thing NOT on your list that I can think of....
Yeeeah, up until this generation I was pretty much a Nintendo-only guy. I'll list some series I have played:

- Mario
- Zelda
- Metroid
- Kirby
- Pokemon
- Star Fox
- Pikmin
- Animal Crossing
- F-Zero
- Dragon Quest
- Sonic
- Kid Icarus
- LittleBigPlanet
- Infamous
- Sly Cooper
- Pac-Man
- Space Invaders
- LEGO games
- de Blob
- Chrono Trigger
- Red Dead Redemption
- Ico
- Shadow of the Colossus
- Batman: Arkham series
- 007 games
- Need for Speed
- Burnout
- Little King's Story
- Drawn to Life
- Lock's Quest
- Okami

At the risk of sounding like a hipster, a lot of what interests me are the really bizarre or unusual games that don't normally become hugely successful or aren't well known.

I think my user name will tell you how old I am... What I meant by old game, was a game where most of the initial hype has dwindled. Had you said Syndicate Wars before the FPS, Syndicate, had been announced a few years back, not that many gamers would've known what you were talking about. Like-wise, people who weren't interested in Portal when it came out will find it eclipsed by other more recent games.

My aim was to tell you that I had been blown away by portal, even after I felt like I had missed its wave of popularity.

Your response about my age came across as a bit condescending. I played 2 of the 3 games you mentioned when they were new...

I haven't played any game released on a Nintendo console ever, aside from a few hours of Super Mario 3. Don't really think I've missed a whole lot as none of them interested me.

My biggest shame: I've never played Ultima 7.

I think my biggest example is Legend of Zelda series...

Played the fabled, so called godly like, obviously the superior videogame in existence of mankind and then some, OCARINE OF FUCKING TIME...

I lasted 20 minutes before going SCREW THIS SHIT and simply going back to whatever game I was playing at the time (I think it was Dead Rising 2, or maybe Magicka, or maybe Left 4 dead with my friends... I dont have a clue, dont rememeber. Any of those kick OOT ass, by the way)

Mind you, I am not the classic person that gets hyped to hell from every single other person, IN fact, I want into OOT EXPECTING it to be at the VERY least a decent game, but not even that helped me with my dissapointement.

I realize its a 5 years old videogame (probably more), but DAMN it... stop with the hype people, at least if your going to hype, hype at whatever´s the newest zelda title right now.

I guess after so much negativity, I shall now give something thats positive about the game...

Well, I guess the soundtrack was good, at least in the zelda level in super smash bros is cool. Lol.

That alone means its not the worst game ever, that place is reserved for Dragon Age, dont worry zelda fans (If anyone is going to give a shit about what I think, LOL. I would do the same in your place so no hard feelings. Opinions, after all).
