I've always pronounced it WHY-vern (and k-THOO-loo, btw) although I've heard it pronounced WI-vern like Zak does also. Isn't that a wyvern tattooed on his head? As far as pronunciations go, the classic has got to be: does drow rhyme with cow or snow? (cow) Ah, the things geeks argue about... Anyway, loving the shows, especially the voices (wish I could do voices when I DM, but I suck at them).

I seem to be unable to watch this episode as it decides to play the previous one every time I try to watch it. Anyone got any ideas?

As a side note: I too lament the missing music, I love The Sword and their music is perfect for D&D and the theme they did for the show is awesome.

Edit: Ignore my idiocy, I resolved my problem. Also, sweet wig.

So...Zak...you are a font of amazing creativity. That is all.

Now I've got to get back to planning for my Renaissance Espionage game that coming up on Saturday.

I'm not going to pick at the music scab-- I think if there was an easy answer we would have it, so best to quit poking with a stick, eh?

We're getting backstory, which I'm always happy about. I feel like we the viewers are now past that invisible line where the campaign "starts to come together."

& the only time I've had any players try that hard to get MY character back to life was when I told them my god chained his follower's souls to his torture throne, until one came who could over-throw him. Literally over-throw, as in, wrestle him off. I rolled a crappy grapple check & they felt bad.

I remember the first time I heard someone ask "What's a wyvern?" It didn't end well. :)

Still, great episode but having it broken up is killing me. I want to see what happens! I'm sooo impatient.

There is an easy answer: I didn't feel like putting music in the last couple episodes, I felt like doing something different.

So let me get this right.

You take a game D&D that is completely boring listen to if you aren't playing and then have pornstars and strippers(whom most men pay specifically NOT to talk) and have them talk about the boring game.

I think I miss the point of these videos.

Would if make a difference to you if these women were not pornstars and strippers? Or maybe if they were women who *are* paid to talk, like motivational speakers. Would you like this show better if all the players were motivational speakers?

You could replace the cast of this show with Congress persons and it would still seem pointless. And for the record the Most annoying person in the video is the GM. He really isn't as witty as he thinks he is.

The comments you all have posted back up my point. The fact that 1/3 to 1/2 of the comments made are about a Purple Wig just go to underline how pointless the actual content of the video is.

I disagree that D&D is boring to listen to, the basic design of it is that you are required to listen to and discuss what is occurring before taking action. With any models, maps etc being visual aids. I'm not convinced that it's pointless either, there's a lot of good material and ideas/GMing methods in here, I can use it as suggestions for the next time I get the chance to run a session. Plus I enjoy hearing how the players think and react to situations.

Whether they defeat what lies ahead or get completely wiped, they're socialising and enjoying each others company for an evening so the game is a success. To be honest I'm not watching them as porn stars and strippers who play games, I'm watching them as a group of friends who have very kindly allowed their weekend hobby to be recorded and stuck out here for us to enjoy as well. Them being attractive is a nice bonus. :)

That you don't enjoy it is unfortunate, but hey it's ok, that's why it's called personal taste.

I don't know what kind of strip clubs you go to; I WISH I could get paid and not have to talk to anyone. It's a very chatty profession.
You think correctly - you DO miss the point, but here it is in case you've got room for it in that little bitty brain. It's a show for people who DON'T think it's boring to play or watch people play D&D. Super easy concept. Don't worry, you'll get it one day.

That's a chunky, yet adorable chihuahua.

Also... I dig the purple hair.
Everyone always says my dog is fat. He's totally not!
I don't get it!
It's the neck, I tell ya! It's just one continuous size of cute dog from head to body.

And the rest of the comments are about how much people are enjoying the show. I'm sorry you don't find it as interesting as the rest of us, but posting "This sucks. Strippers should shut their mouths" is also pretty pointless.

Well there you go then. I do like the "talking over the credits" bits, but miss the occasional riff.
