A girl never goes on a job to dance at a party or private home without a male escort somewhere nearby to make sure that things don't get stupid. COULD this particular nerd (the dm) be paying these girls 3 for 4 hundo a pop to come and play Dungeons and Dragons with him? One way or another I have seen a lot of these dudes in my time. They look exactly like the type.

Thanks for the clarification/explanations. Yah it is starting slowly so I assume its gets better as the game advances. I understand what Tom was saying of the players not being your typical game players but hopefully there would be more to it than that, especially if its a series. The idea here is Juxtaposition(i think thats how you spell it). taking pornstars some more intrested in the game then others and filming them playing one of the neirdiest things on the planet.
Sure i laugh only once or twice an episode but i think the emphisis is really more on the spectical.
I mean where is it written that every escapist feature has to be funny. If sombody finds where. tell them game dogs has to pack up

Not sure I get all the hate for this show. It's certainly a lot better than some of the shit on here.

Alright, I'm beginning to get a better feel for the show now... the editing is a lot better, the pacing conveys a lot more about what's going on and it's slowly getting funnier.
I'm interested to see more of Zak's DMing style, it's very minimalist from what I can tell and I imagine that he uses a lot of Picture References given the sparseness of his descriptions. Which is fair, I've played in some "pacing first, tone/scene/whatever second" GM's that have been fantastic.

Whilst I like the idea of the snappy *quick cut* 'snip of amusing dialogue' *quick cut* 'something else funny', it clashed with the fairly relaxed way things have been going up until now. I'd like to see things go one way or the other; either laid-back and strangely whimsical or quick-fire witty banter rather than the odd clash between the two that this episode was.
I do have to say though, this is definitely growing on me and it's making me chuckle often enough that I'm sticking with it.

So I know last week I commented about the lighting, but I think that must have been a weird rendering bug on my system since this episode looked fine and even going back to Ep 2 it was fine. Moving on..
Funny bit with custom figures and one of the ladies wanting a big ass on her figure..
My big issue with this episode was a bit past 3 minutes there was just a bit of a sentence, quick cut to another bit of sentence, cut to another bit of sentence... Hearing little one liners without some sort of context doesn't usually work too well.
Again, these episodes need to be a bit longer and cut back on the silly MTV editing style..

Call it a morbid fascination but I kinda dig seeing how others play DnD. Add in the fact that it's a game with freaky porn and stripper chicks just makes it that much more of a novelty. It's already hard to relate to folks in this industry and so it's kinda cool to see that they can dork out with polys and minis like the rest of us gamer geeks.

I've watched a 6 part series on youtube that was close to 10 minutes each part and it was about a journalist documenting the most hated family in the world. It was way more interesting showing that then this and wasn't funny at all. The idea can be funny but things aren't always implemented well.I am Jack said:

As a DM myself for a long time now I feel I must continue to watch it but I am not really sure if I actually should.....Listen guys you have a good concept going, I know for a fact pornstars are into a lot of geeky stuff I had one I used to play WoW with. But you HAVE to stick to some kind of coherent plot the cuts to different people going on about random shit is good in small doses but as a DM I make it a point to keep random chatter to a minimum so the game goes somewhere. So far from what I have gathered you have burned and pillaged a few towns, managed to pick up some quest from what i believe was a Gorgan and now have killed random npcs for shits and giggles as you descend into a hole? I must say I am a bit confused.
