I just bought a barley used copy of Battle tanx:Global assault for the n64

Such a fun game. The single-player sucked, but I had lots and lots of fun with it when cheats were used. Gotta love the remote controlled mega rocket with lasers!

"Nuke Deployed." Was the best words ever uttered by a game voice. Ever.

and it must've just been my age (i was like seven when i first played) but i must've beat co-op single player like 100 times through with a friend and still didnt get bored of campaign

That was one of my favorite games for the n64. My favorite tank is the one that can flip using the yellow buttons. We called it the flippy tank.

Oh man, I loved that game. My crowning achievement was taking out a Titan (I think that's what it's called, the really big one)with a moto tank. It turns out that if you get close enough, it can't aim far enough down to hurt you. My favorite was the hovertank.

Oh yeah. "Nuke deployed" now you're screwed.

OH HELL YESSSS!!! MAN I LOVED PLAYING THAT WITH MY FRIENDS!
Also, anyone who thinks it sounds lame obviously has no sense.
This game was classic and even the campaign was a blast if you had no friends.

Loved that one, an improvement over the first in every way even in the single-player campaign, and the tanks are actually pretty detailed. A fave multiplayer choice too- Battlelord and Convoy are okay but we really liked Assault, in which every gang has a selection of 5 different tanks to rotate through. The best tank for me would be the Hovertank, as it can strafe, it's fast and is immune to mines.
