I played that mission for 6 hours, literally, before I beat it.Xyphon said:COD4. Mile high club.
Slammed my controller into my forehead so hard that I broke the joystick.
I havnt brocken any 360 controllers (yet) but i used to trow ps2 controllers at the wall. 1 time i was playing nfl street (fucking hate that game now)and i threw the controller at the wall so hard it shattered, and the wire pulled down my ps2 and that broke so needless to say i started controlling myself after that but id say ive brocken about 8 to 10 controllers in my days of gamingjaeger138 said:So has anyone ever actually broken a controller or peripheral or other input device when frustrated? I've been gaming for years, and I've done the teeth grinding, shouting at the screen, claiming the game is cheating, and gripping so tight on the controller I can hear it creaking, but I've never actually broken one.
Anyone got any amusing, frustrating or interesting stories about frustration breakage?
EDIT: Anyone heard any stories from Escapist Staff on the subject? I know they did their 'Frustrating Gamin Experiences' but I don't recall any breakage.
And please, if you don't have a story and want to say 'They're just video games', don't. I just want to read some stories of frustrating breaks, not how you don't break stuff
It's wierd, I think I'm the only person I know who really enjoyed the water temple. It was just a case of memorising where things were and exploring every avenue available.Draculafreak said:I hated jabu jabu's belly. Everything looks the same! I hate it ALMOST as much as the water temple.

That would make in interesting challenge... put two pro gamers in a bouncy castle and see who can win a one on one COD4 game without falling off thier chair.la-le-lu-li-lo said:if so it's the best idea i've ever heard.miracleofsound said:Where was he playing, in a bouncy castle?mrhockey220 said:My friend once broke his controller by throwing it on the ground so hard it bounced off the ceiling and hit him on the head. The loser has to remain in the bouncy castle as the winner deflates it and laughs.
