Heh, I was <-> this close to buy Battlefield Bad Company 2 from Steam, until I made a bit of research and found out that the game is very dependant on CPU powuh and I still use my good ol' Pentium D.
I bought Serious Sam HD Gold instead and I'm glad I did.
A few days ago, a friend told me about a website doing it's very own charity bundles that included 2 music albums and 2 games, but this time, the accepted fee was $0.00, so, the prick inside me went ahead and I bought the thing, it included 2 games, Aztaka (a platformer Metroidvania style) and Miner Wars (a combat space simulator, similar to EVE Online in graphics, with fully destructible environments).
I downloaded the thing, using 3 different browsers and a download manager and it didn't worked at all, it always said the file was corrupt. As for Miner Wars, I had to download the game separately from their website, I downloaded and installed it, only to find out that PowerPoint runs much more smoother than this. I hope that it's the game itself, as it's still on pre-alpha phase, but it was a bummer to find out I couldn't play the thing.
And belive me, my PC isn't state of the art, but I can play Mass Effect 2, New Vegas, StarCraft 2 and Civilization V just fine.
