I just got caught up on Naruto Shippunden.

I just caught up on the manga and have been confused. Naruto has just beaten someone who has controlled gravity and then convinced his true form to bring everyone in the village back to live, and than the Raikage says something along the lines of "You suck at being a ninja!"

Ummmmm... WHAT THE HELL?!

Can anyone explain this to me? I'm assuming Pain was much stronger than Sasuke, and Sasuke beat the Raikage's brother, and Naruto beat Pain, so I'm assuming Naruto is at least as strong as the Raikage.

This isn't about the anime. The anime isn't even half up to the point that the manga, the thing I read is up to.

It was all because Naruto was begging for forgiveness for his friend (Sasuke). It has nothing to do with skills. Pretty much he was saying that a Ninja should look out for #1. That was all that was about

Did I hit a nerve? chill. I have heard Manga's are a lot better than anime's but its just not something i'm really into. Plus those headbands kids where have to go. I can't follow an Anime so I guess at very least I understand why your confused. I would assume there trying to make Raikage and Naruto have some sort of tension which will result in some sort of dramatic fight. But as I said I don't know the story.

Is this "Raikage" classed as a good or bad guy? If they're bad, then that's just probably usual bad guy foolery, trying to lower the hero's self-esteem.

The Raikage was just acting like Pain, only stupider! Naruto had just finished convincing Pain that blowing everyone up so people feel pain and stop fighting is a bad idea. It seems like the Raikage should have been at least a little less... stubborn than Pain, considering Pain was crazy because of the loss of his loved ones.

Did that gravity ninja happen to reveale his life story even tho' we'll never see him again in the show? Did this ONE battle take over three episodes? Did Naruto give his speech about how he never gives up? I think we all know the answer....

The ninja was Pain, the leader of one of the major terrorist groups in the MANGA.

Naruto actually debated philosophy with Pain. If you just watch the American Anime aimed for children you'll miss how wonderful Naruto is.

I think that's due to the image the fans have given it.

I've never seen Naruto and don't ever intend to. Mostly because I am tired of looking at those damn headbands that every otaku but me seems to have and wear in public.

Those Headbands are the worst thing in the world. I cannot believe people where those in public.
