I think its pretty good. Does anyone else agree or disagree. Also, I'm trying to find online people for it. Anyone interested?

I am actually playing it with my girlfriend a lot recently! She hasn't played it in 6+ years, so me and her got back into it. I still love it.

It's so awesome and addictive that I together with a friend spent 15 hours straight on completing the normal difficulty. Damn, good times!

its an awesome dungeon crawler..however, it was not even half as fun playing without friends and stuff, so seriously, get some buds together if you wanna fully enjoy that game

Mighty good fun, although finding weapons with class-specific augmentations can be really annoying when they are not for your class.
But that is my only gripe, seriously it pretty damn good

if you're willing to work with people on battle.net, then go for an online thing. but seriously; you want some friends. it makes the experience a lot more fun.

Battle.net is the best place to find class-spesific gear tho.

took me forever to get my lightning sorceress the right gear... (i didnt have friends to play with...)

horadrim, horadrim, horadrim, horadrim, horadrim. That is the only thing I remember about that game; the one guy who had to say Horadrim seventeen times in every sentence.

I don't really like dungeon crawlers and I found the combat to be a bit shit, but it was still fairly fun when playing with some friends.

Oh god. I've not palyed that game in donkey's.... Shit I may just see if steam has it on the cheap.

You'll have fun.... My favourite class was a necromancer. I'd much rather summon skeletons than get my hands dirty XD
Same, Same, Same SAME! I loved it, loved necros but unfortunately Blizzard games aren't on Steam :(

I was considering buying it but was put off by the long distance 3rd person graphics (there's a proper name, I forgot it)

Is it really worth buying? Because if so I could really use a game to play right now.

Yeah, it's pretty fun. I think I still have it installed on my other laptop, along with a level 60-something sorceress. I should play again...

Isometric view, you mean?

Also, it's damn good. If you have a nice big LCD monitor (that's me!) then take a look at this thread of WSGF:

Might just install it again..

I stopped playing because my friends were already high level and did not want to join me on the low level quests...

Um... it was and I believe still is the definitive Dungeon Crawling experience, right? So then it is awesome. Nothing else to say to it.
This, and it's kind of sad really. We had 10 years since D2:LOD and nothing comes even close to topping it. Some games are fun, but have completely meh itemization, some have a compelling item system but are completely meh in the gameplay department. Give me another Diablo, damnit.
Sacred was pretty decent as far as hack-and-slash goes imo, it's no Diablo killer although the graphics are much much better, obviously it being a newer game...

and yeah torchlight is pretty fun, if repetitive after a while (get down, get the gem at floor X, kill a boss at floor Y, get out/sell/repair/buy new stuff. rinse and repeat...)
