I honestly, that Barbie song is not bad. Its not really what I like, but it at least has decent Rythm and a arguably not-terrible voice.

Not to me it isn't. That Friday song may not be the best song in the world but its influence didn't water down an entire genre of music.

If we're going to point the finger at causes, we'd eventually have to say that groups like N'Sync, Britney Spears, and the Backstreet Boys are all terrible artists as well, because they entered us into the eventual decline of having Justin Bieber, Kesha, and pretty much all bad pop music we now have to endure today, even if those beginners were actually pretty decent.

You want to rag on Metallica, go right ahead- you've got more than enough material- but don't include "THIS STARTED X SO THIS SUCKS" as an argument.
