I think if you want to shave it, use foam or something. Because I didn't do anything but get it wet in the shower.

I also did this a couple days ago...I know how uncomfortable it is. I just recommend you use some aftershave, it's all that will help. Or maybe some mouthwash (sounds weird but is surprisingly cooling)
