As the title reads, I just threw my controller out of my room and down the hall.

Why you may ask?

Well i was playing a multiplayer game that i really like but also hate. Bioshock 2's multiplayer appeals to me because i consider it a hell of a lot better than cod. The biggest issue is it laggssss like hell and i die a lot from shots from around cover and corners.

A guy with a machine gun can start firing at me from around a corner and kill me before i even see him. I can take a lot of B.S. deaths and shots not registering.

But when i empty my crossbow and my shotgun at close range into some one and they turn around and kill me with the machinegun i just flipped out.

So anyone else have games that do this to them? A game you love that just turns around and pisses you off.

Black ops. pure and simple. It always lags for me. But i've never threw my controller down the hall. At my brother, yes. But he's always deserved it.

When i was younger i used to throw it down on the floor. But i soon learned that it broke it. So i stopped.

Well, sometimes, yeah, but I never actually get angry enough to throw a controller... that just seems like you're overdoing it. It's a game. I mean, don't take this as some form of attack or insult, but whenever I see that happen I feel like the person has a bit of an anger issue :/ maybe you should try to rethink the way you react to stuff like that?

You should try screaming obscenities instead. 100% 99% controller survival rate on that form of anger expression.

Every single time I play Black Ops, yet somehow I still keep going back to it because COD is crack.

I DO NOT HAVE AN ANGER ISSUE!!!

[sub](Someone had to make that joke)[/sub]

OT: I wouldn't be surprised if there were controller shaped dents in my floor from the VTOL level of Crysis. On the plus side those 360 controllers are built to last.

WHAT ANGER ISSUE!?!? BLAAAAAAAAAAAARRGH!

OT: I've thumped my keyboard once, but typically I don't suffer rage.

Every online FPS I've ever played, lag is probably more of an omnipresent a threat than the actual bullets flying at me. Cod: Black Ops, Crysis 2, and Brink are just my current iterations, with Battlefield 3 next in line for the lagfest.

I've never gotten mad enough to throw a controller, but I have rage-punched a couch cushion before.

I will stop playing the game before I'll throw a controller at something.

Black Ops/Halo: Reach are the two games I've gotten the maddest at.

All the games I've played do bullet hits server side using the latest reported target position. Surely it wouldn't be THAT big a problem to keep track of the last position update that was sent to me and figure out that I'm aiming at the player I can see not the player that ran the other way 2msec after I got the last update 300msec ago.

I usually give my monitor a little smack when I get pissed. Considering how expensive my mouse was, throwing it probably wouldn't help with anger.

Call of Duty.

You put Call of Duty on and put a contoller in my hands and within half an hour that controller will be soaring across the room at high speed towards your heard.

Also, Pokémon. I broke my 1st DS because of Pokémon Diamond and it's fucking annoying gym fights.

I haven't actually thrown a controller, but there have been a few times where playing a game I normally like frustrates me to the point that I have to stop playing.

Anyone here try single player for Star Wars: Battlefront 2? It seems like every time I'd cap a strategic point, the enemy would capture one on the opposite side of the map. I would routinely finish games with over 100 kills, yet it would always result in either a close win or worse yet, a loss. Also, your AI teammates are as dumb as a box of rocks. The breaking point for me one time was playing as the Republic on Utapau, where a single Separatist tank wiped out practically my whole team. They'd stick grenades on it and the tank would drive right up to them, killing them and any nearby teammates with the splash damage. It just drove from one end of the map to the other like that, easily killing at least 25 clonetroopers without even needing to fire its weapons. Our team lost because of that.

Also, Halo Reach multiplayer can be frustrating sometimes. Some people quit before a match even starts (presumably because the map they voted for didn't win), often resulting in a chain reaction of drops that leaves team horribly uneven. It seems like 70% of the time I end up on the team with all the quitters. Also, some people have no business playing Grifball. More often than not, I'm stuck with a team that cares more about deathmatching than actually going after the ball. While I'm desperately trying to keep the ball carrier away from our goal, they're halfway across the map dueling with the enemy player that's playing the decoy. Worst of all is if the enemy team is better and is also out for kills, resulting in games where our spawn points are camped for three minutes while the ball carrier idly waits until the last second to score.

In GTA IV whenever I start the game, go to the shop, buy armor, buy ammo, restart the mission, have to drive 5 or 6 minutes to the objective while listening to some dude in the passenger seat telling me how awful his life is, start a fight with some other dudes and then get killed by some jerk I couldn't see because Nico super glues the camera to the wall whenever he takes cover. And then I have to do the whole thing again because there are no checkpoints and the hard part is 10 minutes in.

It's usually when I try the mission for the third or fourth time that I start bashing the controller against the couch in frustration.

I've had similar things happen to me before. This is why I don't play as a sniper anymore even though I love it, because my team will always, always lose if I'm not on the front lines capturing points.

The thing that I hated the most in that game was running up to a point, killing all of the enemies there and just as the point was almost completely captured, the entire enemy team would spawn there at once. Happened so many times. Or capturing one point and going to capture another one only to have the previous one fall right after I leave.

I put a hole in the drywall with a controller once, yea fun times. Haven't tossed a controller since then. The controller still worked afterwards too, heh.

I never throw my controller, but God of War on Hard often makes me rage face for endless amounts of time.
