I'm too stubborn. I refuse to walk out because I paid for it... but there have been times I have REALLY wanted to walk out. House of a 1000 corpses comes to mind as one...
My family either rented it or it was on tv and I spent the whole time it was on in my room playing games.InsomniJack said:Twilight.
Although, to be honest, it was a DVD.
And strangely, I was able to sit through it's sequels. And they were stupider than the first one.
I would have walked out of the cinema during the pit scene on Meet the Spartans if my gf at the time hadn't started sucking my neck through boredomSoylent Bacon said:Not in the theater, but I've shut off my DVD player and walked out of the room on Avatar and Meet the Spartans respectively.
Well yeah, cause I liked it so its harder for me to guess why others wouldn't.Johnny-Natrium said:Oh, come on.. It actually needs explaining?Rockchimp69 said:May I ask what you didn't like about Avatar exactly?
i havent seen avatar but i'll bet 100 bucks that "mouthy butch latina" was michelle rodriguez.Gaz6231 said:Last time I walked out of a movie was when my flatmates were all watching Avatar in the next room. It was at this point I noticed one of the old guard of movie clichés was making an appearance; Mouthy Butch Latina Who Is Usually Called Ramirez or Something. As soon as she uttered the words 'I didn't sign up for this shit' I laughed and left the room.
Well in my case that's a very good guess. All I could think of was "cliché". I just can't stand it when they're trying to get away with a prefab plot like this.. Seen it too many times, don't feel anything for it anymore, since I was a little kid.Rockchimp69 said:Well yeah, cause I liked it so its harder for me to guess why others wouldn't.Johnny-Natrium said:Oh, come on.. I could take a guess and say it's the unoriginal plot?
Fair enough, the reason I liked it despite the obvious plot was the setting and the CGI and just all together how impressively it's done.Johnny-Natrium said:Well in my case that's a very good guess.
