I just walked out of a movie for the first time today.

Nope. I've seen plenty of movies that I hated(Old Dogs, Funny People) but I never walked out of them. I mean, I was with friends. I'd have to get all their attention, I'd end up making a lot of noise...Just wasn't worth the hassle. I HATE movie talkers, so I try to be considerate in theaters.

I walked out of Doom 40 minutes in, and I wanted to walk out of Where the Wild Things Are, but stayed in the hope it would get better. It didn't. I walked out of Pirates of the Caribbean 1 because I was 6, and scared, now, I love that series. Oh well...

I have walked out of only one movie so far:

Pineapple Express
What the trailer promised: A decent stoner movie intermingled with an action movie which is hilarious as a concept because a lot of the serious stoners I know couldn't accurately fire a firearm in anything BUT an action movie.
Reality: A really really shitty stoner movie (if Half Baked is like taking a deep hit of some quality pot (for medical purposes of course) then Pineapple Express must be like drinking month old used bong water) mixed with an even shittier action movie.

Movies I should have walked out of:
The American: I honestly only stayed because I lost track of time and was seriously waiting for the intro to start and the plot to begin the entire film right up till the credits rolled, I can't even call it a good art movie because even an art movie actually has some goddamn point, plot and story to it!
Skyline: Delivered a cool idea and awesome visuals, procceeded to then do fuck all with them another film where I legitimately wondered if it'd been shipped with only half the film by accident.

I usually see movies with my best friends and we make jokes about the bad ones. I have wanted to walk out, but my wanting to crack jokes and flirt overpowers it all the time. I even sat threw The Bounty Hunter. If a movie doesn't keep me entertained, my friends will.

I walked out of War of the Worlds many years ago. It was pretty awful. I just got bored and left, besides we know what happens in the end anyway.

Never, but I really wanted to walk out of The Box - man that might just be the worst film I've ever seen, the thing was just over 2 hours long but felt like 5. To make things worse there were about 3 parts where it seemed to come to a climax and then just kept on going. I was literally getting up to leave when the credits started rolling.

My friend, you have not even scratched the surface of art movies if you think they typically have a clear point, plot, or story. It's probably better that you don't know though. There are some things that man was not meant to see.

You're totally right about Pineapple Express though. That was so disappointing.

I walked out of theater during the rape scene in Last House on the Left. I went back in though. I just don't understand how someone would want to watch such a scene. I knew the movie was going to be graphic, but not that graphic.

I WANTED to walk out of the theater when I went to see The Last Airbender, but my ride was watching another movie, and there was no real place nearby that I could spend a couple hours waiting for them to get done. So, I had to sit through the horrible acting, casting, and compressed storyline.

seriously they didnt even try, I bet all the directors were thinking about was making a quick buck.

Were you really expecting anything from Dragon Ball Evolution though? I sat through it out of sheer hilarity. I knew full well going in that it was going to be the lamest piece of shit ever known to man which made me and my friend fall to pieces with laughter every time they got something completely wrong, it wasn't even a comedy but still one of the funniest times I've had at the cinema. The film was atrocious yeah, but I paid on orange wednesdays and on child's price for some reason, so it chalked up to £2.20 - I got my money's worth.

Never walked out of the theater, but I desperately want to walk out of the Santa Clause 3. But alas, I was with my family and couldn't.

The first one was great fun. The second was mildly entertaining, but the third was worse than getting your dick stuck in a bicycle chain.

I knew it was gonna be crap but this movie brought shitty to a whole new level. When I saw that movie I finally understood how people who watched Super Mario Bros felt.

I wanted so badly to walk out of The Last Airbender, but I didn't buy the ticket. Not only that, but the kids with us really enjoyed the movie, so I had to pretend that it was great until we got home and I could vomit in the sink. Terrible, terrible movie.

me thinking it was going to be good was relying on seer hope, there was no evidence it would be good except a few fake trailers witch in themselves ended up better than the movie even thought they are trailers.
