I like Black Lagoon and Jormungand. What You Got?

I second the Baccano recommendation, and on top of that I highly recommend the English dub. It takes place in America, a good portion of it in Prohibition era New York, and they did a good job with the accents and characters to really set the scene.

Also Durarara which is by the same people, but I recommend watching Baccano first because DRRR references it a few times. I've only seen it in Japanese, but I hear the dub is good.

Oh yes Durrara that was a pretty interesting series there's a second season coming apparently

Go with Darker Than Black. Skip the second season though, the plot revolves around a Russian magical girl. It was dumb.

I don't know Jormungand but I think Berserk has a similar sort of brutality to it as Black Lagoon but then in a fantasy setting.

Ghost in The Shell, the first movie thereof and the first series. (The second movie's more like a philosophy book quotation competition in the guise of an action movie whereas the first is sort of the opposite. The second season has a better developed main plot arc. I liked the second series but it may or may not be to your taste.)

Though it depends what you liked about Black Lagoon really, I can think of other connections between various anime.
