Twilight Princess is much better on the gamecube. Also Animal Crossing is the greatest game of all time.

Isn't Navi that blue-hippie race from Avatar?

Anyway, Dragon Age 2 wasn't that bad of a game.

Wind Waker and Majora were both better than Ocarina. Sonic's actually gotten better. Knights of the Old Republic 2 is better than the first one, and would have been the best game on the Xbox had Lucas Arts let Obsidian finish it. Nintendo and Capcom are still great developers, despite their current publicity in the hardcore community. The best retro games actually hold up, the nostalgia argument is overused, digital distribution of classic games is one the best things to happen this generation, and despite (or even because) it's graphical limitations, the Wii has some amazing looking games since the developers were forced to focus on art style over detail.

When Navi left at the end of OoC she traveled through space until she had gained enough power to create new life.

and that's where blue babies come from.

I REEEEAAALLY hope you mean "gotten better since Sonic Heroes" (which he has) and not "gotten better since the 2d sonic games"

Halo is actually quite good.

Also:

The Elites are cooler then the Spartans.

Ashley Williams is my favorite female in Mass Effect.

Ben Carmine made a better protagonist then anyone else in Gears of War.

Bayonetta is about as far away from being a feminist icon as I am from learing to fly with paper wings.

Duke Nukem was never funny.

I liked Bulletstorm.'

I have no issue with regenerating health, cover systems or iron sight aiming.

WoW: Cataclysm is the worst of the three expansions. Minecraft is an ugly, boring snooze-fest. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was fun. Kane and Lynch Dog Days camera work was pretty awesome.

Well....better since '06, anyway.

I too found Navi to be charming in her way.

Not sure why she insisted I try to keep moving, though.

Navi is fucking awesome and is just a bit epic in the final battle against Ganon.

Majora's Mask is the best Zelda game.

The Modern Warfare story so far is like a fantastic action movie and makes perfect sense if you just PAY ATTENTION GOD DAMMIT.

The Halo universe, if given the chance, can be the Star Wars of our age.

More on Halo, Halo 3: ODST was the best Halo game by far, and Halo Wars is severely underrated.

Halo: Reach's story doesn't fuck up established canon THAT much (seriously, for the few on here that care, do not argue with me on this point, I don't want to go over it again.)

Dragon Age 2, though not as good as the first, was still a great game.

Resident Evil 5 is just as good as Resident Evil 4. Definitely not better, but at least just as good.

WoW is not evil.

Star Wars: The Old Republic, looks amazing.

PC is not superior. But neither are consoles.

Movies based on SHORT video games could be amazing. Longer games, like Mass Effect, if anything, should be a mini-series or full-blown series. Or they should at least be side stories.

Silent Hill 2 is not scary at all.

Chrono Trigger is the best game Square-anything ever released.

Linear, non-innovative games aren't bad if they tell an amazing story or are very, very well made and fun to play.

Alan Wake is one of the most under-rated games of our time.

(EDIT: Thought of one more that makes sense right here) Conversely, Portal, though good, may be one of, if not the, most overrated games of our time.

Red Dead Redemption may be the best game ever made.

The only thing Final Fantasy VII ever had going for it was amazing music.

Ho-oh is WAY cooler than Lugia.

... Oh god, more Halo, I apologize. The Flood are incredibly fun to fight, and I actually love the Library level in Halo 1.

I'm sure there's more. But I'm way too tired to think of anything else.

Goodnight, sweet Escapist.

Like you said the Water Temple wasn't hard.

Call of Duty has gone downhill since MW2.

I think the Assassin's Creed series is awful.

I think, and hope, that the Wii U will rock.

I'm not tired of zombie games, in fact I want more!

Edit: Just thought of one more, bare with me.

Chrono Trigger is not the holy shinning beacon of RPGs. Don't get me wrong its great but not amazing.

What gaming beliefs do you disagree with the majority on?
I thought the ending to Fallout 3, Pre-Broken Steel was one of the best endings to an RPG.

I thought Dragon Age 2 was allright.

Fable 3 is not bad either. Nor is Fable 2.
Good game...shitty difficulty and TERRIBLE BOSSES

Okay, lets do this...

I liked Navi, as a character, I also thought she was very helpful.
I hadn't played a FF game until yesterday, I tried FF13, and didn't enjoy it, in fact I hated it, I don't intend on playing it again.
I got bored of WoW a long time ago.
I try to hug Creepers when I see them, not run away.
I also liked Fallout 3s pre - broken steel ending.
I really enjoyed Fallout: New Vegas.
I loved (and still do love) CoD: Modern Warfare 2.
Dragon age 2 was fun, maybe not as good as the first, but I still thoroughly enjoyed it.
I enjoy Battlefield bad company 2 just as much as I enjoy Modern Warfare 2.

Did anyone here play Mirrors edge?
I ****ing love that game.

[HEADING=2]BURN THE WITCH![/HEADING]

OT: I've never gotten into the Zelda series and thus I'm called by many to be a horrible Nintendo fan. How dare I not be head-over-heels in love with Ocarina of Time!

Fallout 3 was better than New Vegas in pretty much everything apart from the gameplay mechanics themselves. And F3's locations were actually worth visiting, not like NV's endless barrage of copy-pasted shacks and buildings you can't even go into.

Oh goodness. I'm gonna get so much hate for this, but I'll say it anyway.

Final Fantasy VII isn't the greatest game ever.
Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed FFVII and have great memories with it...buuuuut I still don't think it should be dubbed "THE greatest ever."
Funny, people like to hate FF7 around these parts. I personally really like the game myself, but I do agree it isn't the best game ever. (I personally thought FF9 was bettter.)

OT: I don't think Team Fortress 2 going F2P is a bad thing at all. In time the F2P players will either get better at the game or leave. It's as simple as that. And this is coming from someone who has payed for the game. (Although I couldn't play it up until recently due to not having a good enough computer to run it back then.)

Don't worry, I like Navi too, and I also didn't think she was that annoying either.

I beat the water temple multiple times when I was 6, so it wasn't that difficult.

I guess this turned into a confession forum :D
