Film needs more love.
Yum... It tastes like the connective cookie of time...
And, yes... I do wish more people gave this movie a chance... I mean, once it did clicked for me (which didn't take that long, in fact), I was hooked til the very end...
(Now, I want to re-watch it again...)

For the record, the book's pretty excellent as well, but the amazing use of actors in the film lets it trump the book in my view.
That won't stop me from trying to find the book... since I can just imagine the movie as I read it... (You know, how "most" people do when they do read the original source material...)

Also, I'm hoping to show off Cloud Atlas to my IRL film group... Movies like these we can watch and understand after just the first viewing, anyway... (#humblebrag)

I hate it when by the time you are proved right, people forget that you told them in the first place.
I would hate that... only I make it VERY clear that I was right in the first place...

This is basically how it plays out:
They would get so annoyed that they would then try to 1-up me by trying to prove that I didn't even know that in the first place... (So now, I only do it when I know I have the upper hand...)

I usually don't like being right. Maybe there's something wrong with my brain, but I'll briefly feel happy but will then feel bad because I'll worry that being proven wrong might have made the other person feel bad

I would have stories like this, but my family generally takes what I say as gospel truth because of my past record. I'm not always right, but I don't usually speak up unless I'm fairly firm in my understanding of the topic, and so they've learned to take what I say at face value.

It's kinda nice.

Story of my bloody life!

"Hey you should probably listen to me...I seem to be always right about these sorts of things"

NO! *5 minutes later*

"SEE!? If you listened to me in the first place, LIKE YOU SHOULD BUT NEVER DO, THIS WOULDN'T OF HAPPENED!"

Then I get told to shutup...ignorance...

I feel like I tend to be right often anyway, but being cynical, I come off as "overly negative" than empirically right to most people.

I also feel like people just don't plain listen to me, but that could be because I mumble slightly and because I am either mumbling or shouting.

Those being the only volume options for my voice.

I have a bad habit of being right, but no one ever listens till it's too late. (proven over the course of my life)

Never sure why people don't listen when even I'm nice about it. Usually has to due with age, personal issues, etc on their side. I find Americans despise you if your smarter than them while also younger.
