Random country... Antarctica!

You have a wonderful supply of freshwater locked up in majestic ice-caps. In general, beautiful.

Since I'm a child of two countries, I'm going with my homeland of New Zealand.
Love your scenery, love your talent in the arts that has come out of your country, and goddamnit I love the All-Blacks.

Im from San Antonio, Texas moved to Los Angeles, California; USA
Just skip me, that's nice :p

With a name like that, you never would have guessed she's an Aussie :p

Finland appears to be nice, but I know next to nothing about it :p

EDIT: I'm sorry, I can think of nothing good about Serbia. It starts with an S? I like S?

Australia.

Since I got pretty much a vacuous and vapid response last time, I'm going to try this again.

Japan
You got skipped over so I'm gonna do two.

You guys have awesome arcitecture, especially in terms of temples. I've been to Japan (Tokyo and Kyoto) and honestly, the temples was the best thing there for me.

I respect the freedom you people have there (for example the obvious stuff: cannabis and prostitution.) This is not because I'm into those things, because I'm not, but I think everyone should be free to do whatever they want as long as they're not hurting other people. Netherlands is one of the most progressive countries in this aspect.

Finland.

Great TV?!?! Do you live in some kind of bizarre alternate Australia?

OK, actually if you're referring to ABC on a Wednesday night (i.e. Spicks and Specks and Gruen Tranasfer etc) then I understand.

Finland is where Nightwish, CHildren of Bodom, Ensiferum and Finntroll are from. 'Nough said as far as I'm concerned, but from what I've seen it looks like a beautiful country, and I've heard that you're a very friendly people as well. I'd love to go there.

I'm from Australia (been done already on this thread), but I was born in New Zealand.

"Put the kettle on" is your reaction to absolutely everything; good, bad, or neutral.

City on fire? "Hang on a tick, I'll put the kettle on and we'll have a bloody good think about what we should do."
Someone announced their wedding? "Fantastic! I'll put the kettle on!"
Your wife is having her friends over? "I'll just put the kettle on and watch the telly."

Measured response to everything. That measure is usually either one or two sugars :p

Fucking love you guys!

I'm Canadian living in London (UK, not Ontario).
I love Canada. It's beautiful. And what's not to love about the UK?

I'm from the USA (Texas).
I love how relatively cheap everything is in America! I could go to a game store and not have to spend $100 on a game!

I'm from Australia (Wollongong)
Wollongong thats strange to see someone from here on the net well technically Im just outside of wollongong but eh (shellharbour)

OT:For the US: Bethesda is based there and theres a lot of other game companys there

I'm from the Republic of Ireland.

(please no leprechaun things....)
Ireland has got some amazing musicians coming out of there. Sinead O'Connor, U2, The Cranberries. But also some amazing writers like Dylan Thomas, James Joyce, Samuel Beckett.

And I loved the movie The Commitments.

Also, Irish people are really lovely. And there are some find Irish ballads.

Also Ireland contributed a LOT to US culture.
That was rather nice so I had to respond and say a big thank you!
If you haven't managed to see The Guard yet, it's a great movie about how dysfunctional and hilarious life can get here.

The Commitments was fucking awesome!

You have Remedy Entertainment

Serbia
I just want to pick up on the Serbia, since no one has said anything about it yet.

On a personal level, I have a friend who is Serbian and she has got the most hilariously dry sense of humor, the sort of thing that reads really continental and sophisticated.

But besides that Nikola Tesla!!!!! That is enough to make Serbia the coolest but there's more.
It is a beautiful country, and as far as I was taught, it was the Serbian resistance to the Nazis that delayed Hitler's push into Russia...which meant that he got caught in the Russian winter. Were it not for the Serbs, Hitler might have won the Eastern Front...and that would have been bad for everyone.

So thanks Serbia!
